Despite the problems with the Arctic ice in 2007 and 2012, it’s 2006 that had the lowest local minimum and the point where the *systematic increase* of sea ice in recent years started.
The Arctic ice recovery also started in 2008.
Two words: solar forcing.

Just because we have had an 83 year pause in global warming doesn’t mean that it isn’t real!
More evidence of the coming cooling trend?
Please remember, historically, cooling trends came with quieter suns and we could go back to the cold of the mid-1800s. People that believe in global warming will be caught off guard, but this winter should remind them of their hypocrisy as they take for granted their warm beds at night, while many go without heat.
