In 1997, GISS showed 0.8ºC warming in the Northern Hemisphere from 1885 to 1940 – when CO2 was 310 PPM. Over the next 45 years, only 0.2ºC additional warming has occurred.

No wonder Hansen decided to rewrite history. There is no CO2 footprint in the actual temperature record.

why would temps fall from 1940-1980 when CO2 was rising, assuming man is the primary cause of global warming?
