In Pittsburg and Philadelphia many factories were closed, and the men were completely prostrated by the heat. In these three and other cities thousands of persons sleep on the docks and in the parks, as it is quite unbearable indoors at night.

Billions of people ‘believe’ that Muhammad is the one and only true prophet. Millions believed Obama when he told them they could keep their health plans.
Beavers alter the environment, so do wolves, ants and flamingos. We are not an alien species.
I ‘know’ that AGW alarmists are causing unnecessary suffering and death for millions of innocent men, women, and children with absolutely no justification for their actions. As Bjorn Lomborg discovered when doing research for his book ‘The Skeptical Environmentalist’, the money spent on climate alarmism is enough to ensure that we eventually feed, clothe, shelter and medicate every human on this planet.
“If you spend $3 billion over the next four years, you could save 100 million kids from malnutrition,” says Lomborg. “Of course, hunger is a bad thing. But it turns out that solving this has much bigger implications than just curing the terrible indignity of kids suffering pangs of hunger. Looked at your site Barbara. Sorry, but you are deeply brainwashed. Prove me wrong and make the argument against your own view on most anything. Start with guns. Can you make an intelligent argument against you liberal position? Can you make an argument against CAGW?
Do you know what the Oregon petition is? Do you know the arguments against the three deeply flawed studies that claim a 97% consensus on CAGW? Are you aware of the many research papers that refute all the castestrophic claims of dangerous global warming?

I believe your quotation from Mr. Feynman at the heading of this blog says it all with regards to the Al Gore Rhythm of “global warming”. You can always buy “scientific fact” with enough money. Observation have ceased being the foundation of inference, and scientific reasoning has simply become another convoluted mess of pragmatic philosophy.
