How About “Total Buffoon?”

Dr. Hansen is also the man who has probably done more to put global warming on the global agenda than any other living human being.

And while he is occasionally given to rhetorically jumping the shark, his concerns are based on a lifetime of rigorous atmospheric research that has helped to define modern climatology.

In short, his views should be afforded, at the very least, a decent respect by critics and admirers alike.

A life of “rigorous atmospheric research “, enjoying the odor of his own gaseous output.

Dr Hansen: The world’s leading climate proctologist.

  2. Karl W. Braun says:

More entertainment from one of our Klimate Klowns, a national treasure!

  3. Colorado Wellington says:

    It’s a sorry mess:

“Struck by his beauty, Apollo provided Dr. Hansen with the gift of prophecy, but when Hansen refused Apollo’s romantic advances, he placed a curse ensuring that nobody would believe his warnings. Hansen was left with the knowledge of future events, but could neither alter these events nor convince others of the validity of his predictions.”

  4. Andy Oz says:

It’s a shame the shark didn’t bite Hansen when he jumped it.
The world would be better off with Zac Young still alive and Hansen as shark bait.

Reblogged this on CACA and commented:
    It should read:

Dr. Hansen is also the man who has probably done more to corrupt climate science than any other living human being.

And while he is occasionally given to rewriting temperature history, his concerns are based on a lifetime of rigorous atmospheric fraud that has helped to define modern climatology.

In short, his views should be afforded, at the very least, a decent respect by prison wardens and inmates alike.

  6. Louis Hooffstetter says:

The very first sentence of the Hansen letter sums it up:
“….James Hansen is the high priest of global warming…”

  7. gator69 says:

“Environmentalists have been at a loss to explain why the world has become increasingly apathetic toward their warnings about the dangers of increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, even as the science behind the warnings becomes more compelling.”

Obviously this clown spends most of his reading time in the entertainment or sports section.

    • Gamecock says:

When the sky doesn’t fall, people who run around screaming, “The sky is falling!,” get ignored.

“. . . even as the science behind the warnings becomes more compelling.”

What a strange phrase. The temperature isn’t going up, but the science is.

  8. Edmonton Al says:

I wish I could get Hansen up here this morning and shovel my driveway. He could then experience first hand “global warming.”
It is now about -34C with a bit of a wind chill. This is close to -40 where the temps C and F are about the same number.

  9. Exactly the same number.

I’d rather have CO2 in my atmosphere than UF6. Let’s stick to coal please.

  11. Bob Knows says:

Not far from here is a dairy farm where you can get better fertilizer than that for $10 per pickup load. Bring your own shovel.

  12. Andy DC says:

Hansen has no more credibility than than the latest “end of the world” cultist.

Do we have to respect Jim Jones too? He had a lot of devoted followers.
