Not to be an alarmist, but the signs of global warming are everywhere. From melting ice caps and rising sea levels to increasing sea and air temperatures, symptoms of the “greenhouse effect” are ever present. And while these sound like academic consequences of a purely scientific problem, there are real global warming consequences to life on earth, ranging from the spreading of disease to the degradation of air quality.
The Meltdown
It’s well known by now that the ice caps are melting. Images of polar bears searching for firm footing run rampant throughout the media. But did you know that NASA satellite images show, in the North Pole, that ice caps are losing up to 8.5 percent of their summer sea ice every ten years? Some estimates have a loss of 60% of said ice by the early next century.
Those would be the polar ice caps which have the fourth highest extent on record.
The alarmist morons are channelling Tolkien now as well. More proof that they are a complete bunch of nincompoops. And us taxpayers are paying for this!! Geez zus!!!!
