Unfortunately, Hollywood types receive more press than this kind of reality:
Pacific sardine populations fluctuate with water temperature. Colder water means fewer fish. Temperatures last fell in the 1940s, but heavy fishing continued, devastating the stock and ending fishing until sardines returned when waters warmed in the 1980s.
“We think this is set to happen again,” says Zwolinski, who tracked the population over the past century. He found that sardines have reproduced less since waters cooled in the 1990s.
As far south as California the fishermen are complaining of cold water:
Federal fisheries managers slashed upcoming West Coast sardine harvests by two-thirds while scientists try to get a better handle on indications the population is significantly dwindling… Populations typically drop when ocean temperatures get colder, as they have lately in conjunction with a climatic condition known as the Pacific Decadal Oscillation.

Tell the fishermen to dredge the bottom, where all that missing heat can now be found.
Would I allow a leftist to tell me that 99 out of 100 doctors agree, or would I want to hear from all 100 doctors. That is the question.
Is this a series or a one-time event? Not sure I can handle this for 10 weeks. And just at the wrong time. A few more years and people would hesitate to put something so stupid on TV. Hope the series does not do too much harm to the environment or the economy in the last few year’s of the messiah’s term.

The most telling part of the video is at time 20 seconds to time 25 seconds. A voice says “Not true. Global warming ended in 1998. I’ll show you the data for it!”, then the camera cuts to a man lowering his face in dismissal and giving the speaker an obscene hand gesture.
This the the (effectively identical) response I have encountered over and over when I offer to show CAGW enthusiasts what the actual data is. “Data? We don’t need no stinkin’ data!”
Bye Bye, Showtime subscription. The guy who brought us Alien, Terminator, Avatar, and a career-changing made-up tabloid brings us weather forecasting.

What unmitigated BS! I am an independent physical scientist and US Patent holder.
CO2 is a “trace gas” in air, insignificant by definition. It absorbs 1/7th as much IR, heat energy, from sunlight as water vapor which has 188 times as many molecules capturing 1200 times as much heat making 99.9% of all “global warming.” CO2 does only 0.1% of it. For this we should destroy our economy?
The Medieval Warming from 800 AD to 1300 AD Micheal Mann erased to make his “hockey stick” was several degrees warmer than anything “global warmers” fear. It was 500 years of great abundance for the world.
The Vostock Ice Core data analysis show CO2 increases follow temperature increases by 800 years 19 times in 450,000 years. That makes temperature change cause and CO2 change effect; not the other way around.
Carbon combustion generates 80% of our energy. Control and taxing of carbon would give the elected ruling class more power and money than anything since the Magna Carta of 1215 AD.

the problem is that 97% is a ficticious number. that is based on predictive models that predicted way off. out of 117 models used 114 of them were way off. the 97% were basing their “agreement” on bad models.
Sounds like “An Inconvenient Truth – Part 2” from the land of make belief – Hollywood.

“An Inconvenient Truth” had nine major errors exposed in the British High Court, and 27 other errors exposed outside the British High Court. So how many errors will Cameron’s documentary contain? I just can’t wait to find out.
No doubt the documentary will win an Academy Award (as did An Inconvenient Truth), and Cameron will receive a Nobel Peace Prize (as did Al Gore). The frightening truth is they probably will!
