Correction: December 15, 2012
An earlier version of this article suggested that the gunman in the Connecticut shooting used a rifle to carry out the shootings inside the Sandy Hook Elementary School. In fact, according to law enforcement, the guns used in the school shooting were both handguns.
On the morning of the shooting, CNN showed the police running into a different school.
The local newspaper reported that an armed off-duty SWAT team member from another town was in the woods outside the school where the shooting occurred.
A man with a gun who was spotted in the woods near the school on the day of the incident was an off-duty tactical squad police officer from another town, according to the source.

So many little threads hanging loose and never investigated by the media or the police.
I was always especially concerned about the armed SWAT member in the woods next to the school. How much of a wild coincidence is too much to swallow?
What’s up with that SWAT guy? Was he there because he wanted to enjoy a small Nature spot for a few moments while:
(a) taking a leak;
(b) satisfying his cigarette Jones;
(c) flogging the dolphin at a really bad time, just before the shooting started;
(d) pursuing a more insidious objective?
Maybe doing all the above — while armed and dressed in camouflage.
I’m waiting for the Cameron family movie that backs up the story, just like Seal Team 6 did for the fabricated OBL assassination. Shia Lebouf as Adam Lanza.
It’s pretty clear that the media that reported on this tragedy were all climate scientists–well, indistinguishable from climate scientists, in their incompetence or worse.
