    Most practitioners of psychoanalytics have high confidence in the findings of their field. They have their own associations, journals, etc. Poll the most published authors in these journals and they will express high confidence in their ‘discoveries’ about the mind. Ask the rest of the psychological community what they think of psychoanalytics, and you’ll find that most of the rest of us think they are doing junk science. Welcome to the real world.

    Believe in the theory of evolution? It works for now, it is the best theory out there, but it fails to explain change of kind. I have no issue with it as a theory, but as a critical thinker I cannot accept it as fact at this time. Maybe someday.

    I so tire of hearing about ‘settled science’ and conjecture put forth as fact. This video is a good reminder that we are not as smart as we sometimes think we are.

    Today the geeks doubled down on dirty dog dumb: the mothership of Reddit.com just banned skeptics from their science forum due to their “outsized influence.” Last month Phys.org reorganized their comment system that now informally but quickly bans serious skepticism, after years of open policy. They likely intuit that the cold wave is real and likely deep and profound so the enablers of the scam are in full defensive mode now. After all, they wont even sponsor debate battles (and their loss!) any more. What makes me giddy is how the whole debased left wing is so deeply tied up in this and now the snarky dork squad is too, since only recently has the fraud become so clear to anybody with critical thinking skills instead of just a statistical mess supported by Authority.

    Skepticism is becoming cool as Mother Nature tears the soul out of tyranny in our lifetimes. Why needs obscure Reddit.com or Phys.org when we now dominate DrudgeReport.com, Instapundit.com and Fox News? Al Gore deserved his Nobel Peace Prize, ironically, as did Obama. The Global Warming scam itself, their very need for it, was a last gasp affair. It is a perfect storm now, of backlash, as indoctrinated kids shiver.
