Australia About To Exorcise Their Green Demons

Australia is just about to kill the green demons which have plagued their country for decades. The closer these scum get to being exorcised, the louder they scream. But soon they will be dead,

And Australia will embolden the rest of world to rid themselves of the mentally ill people who have been running our governments, and currently occupy the White House..

the big problem is the aussies are a no bullshit practical people .how the hell are we going to change the current mindset in the uk ? we are now in the position that a severe winter will see significant power outages , and in the not too distant future even everyday demand in perfect conditions will not be met.

so far the solution is to install smart meters into commercial and residential property so the option of cutting individuals and individual companies supply in times of high usage appears to be the short term solution, which with it being the uk ,will also end up the long term solution. we have already passed the point of no return, even if we start building new power stations today it will be too late to avoid the inevitable.

    • Send Al to the Pole says:

That’s not a “solution”. Just a control mechanism…. over you.

    • Olaf Koenders says:

Just tap into the wires on the input side of your meter and connect them to a wall socket on the inside of your house. Electrickery’s free there and nobody can cut you off. Just make sure you tap in to the wire that’s outside the meter box within your wall tho.. otherwise the meter reader (if any) will find it and kill you.

Senate just voted the carbon tax repeal bill down. I am not amused.

We still have the wretched thing. Gah!

Mr Abbott needs to take the risk and pull the DD trigger almost immediately

This present state of affairs is pointless, and PUP needs to be got rid off.

    • Truthseeker says:

Bloody Clive Palmer … still it seems that the problem is that provisions for passing the cost savings back to consumers was not “strong enough”. More of a speed bump than a road block.

      • Streetcred says:

I wonder, loudly, whether Al Gore has promised Palmer a ‘lifeline’ to pay back that $12mil to the Chinese that Palmer stole for his election campaign.

    • Ernest Bush says:

Apparently, there were procedural errors introduced by the rush. It will come back up for vote in a few weeks, according to some accounts I read.

A funny thing happens when people are freezing to death. Sometimes they even pick up pitchfork and machetes.

Australian Greens have taken fail to a spectacular level: Two sunken wave-energy boondoggles, (I mean really); idiotic desalinization projects: http://joannenova.com.au/2012/12/most-useless-flagrant-flop-of-government-muffog-2012-finalist-victorian-desal/

    What is the point?

100 years of droughts and floods in Australia.
    Pre 1980 droughts/floods are non-CO2 caused and post 1980 droughts/floods are due to CO2.
    I have no idea why.

I believe the maps are at the BOM site rather than the ABC site, cos I can’t see them at ABC.

Don’t count them dead yet, brah. They got more lives than a,,,,,than a,,,,,hell, they never go the f**k away.

    • “… they never go the fuck away.”

That statement is an axiom. Anyone saying otherwise either doesn’t know what he’s talking about or is contemplating other worlds like Kingdom of the Heavens.

What I hate most about AGWers is — there is nothing inherently wrong with keeping a clean house. Of course, the cleanest house of all is one in which everyone is dead and in caskets (no grubby fingerprints from those “residents”!) But our choices are NOT limited to “kill everyone to avoid poisoning the planet” and living like complete bachelors (sorry, guys — I once had to leave a party to walk a block to my own home to a bathroom I dared enter; they had “stuff” growing all over the porcelain — either their moms never taught them anything, or their moms made them feel like they -should- have been in caskets all along). Alas, today anyone who wants a clean AND habitable “house” (what IDIOT ever thought Corexit was a “cleaning” agent???) is going to be booed out of the community just for wanting the “clean” part.

    • inMAGICn says:

      Ummm…aaaah…..um. What?

      • mellyrn says:

Sorry; pre-coffee, I guess. Only, “greens” are about a clean environment, yes? And I’ve met people who agreed that AGW was bogus but it was OK to lie if it got people to protect the environment. And I said No, people don’t like being lied to; I was afraid that when AGW blew up, it would cause people to throw the clean-environment baby out with the AGW bathwater. So I read here the glee with which “greens” are being voted out and I worry that getting rid of “crazy” greens will take “sane” ones with it.

        • inMAGICn says:

          Thanks, I get it now.

The bathwater is foul, that is sure. But the baby is growing to be a monster.

And “green” is phonier a concept than “organic,” at least in its current corrupted usage.

        • Brian H says:

Re: mellyrn (Jul 12 22:28), Sane Greens? Never come across one in politics. Their love of mandated solutions which they have little skill to keep under control is generally destructive. From crushing industries to spending billions on fake “crises & solutions” like acid rain and CFC banning, they are menacing fools, in practice.
