In the movie “The Day After Tomorrow” – global warming made Greenland suddenly drop to -140F.
Can Manhattan be far behind?

That’ll teach ’em by trying to fake extreme heat using a match – they’ve buggered up the instruments.
There has to be something wrong here – 178 degrees S doesn’t make any sense at all.
Minus 98 in the Summer doesn’t make any sense at all.
Here’s a quote from Wikipedia
“Summit Camp, also Summit Station, is a year-round research station on the apex of the Greenland Ice Sheet. Its coordinates are variable, since the ice is moving ”
Variable – that’s an understatement – from 72 N to 178 S – that’s magical !
Just like climate science !
“178 degrees S” refers to wind direction. (As in 360 degrees in a circle, not temperature.)
The temperature plot over the last day looks very odd:

Must be an instrument error … not even my ex is that cold 😉
It does look strange…..
this is showing positive temps?

A logarithm problem? Hell froze over? The abomidable snowman? It’s just freaking cold. Brass monkey weather.
And why is American Samoa registering a negative temperature?

They’ve got five people up there: someone should pull their finger out.
Much too cold.
Looks fixed now but it’s pretty obvious summer is over for the Golf Club of the North.
If Manhathan freezes it’ll be a more appropriate unit of ice area, 🙂
