President Obama says these climate skeptic astronauts are like people who “believe the moon is made out of cheese.”
This might come as a surprise to Harrison Schmitt (top left) who is the only scientist to have walked on the moon – during a time when Obama was busy smoking choom.

The sad thing is that O probably doesn’t know the real meaning behind the cheese statement. In the oldest tales that use it, it is a scam artist that convinces a ‘fool’, to his (the ‘fool’s’) detriment, that the moon is made of cheese. It’s done through trickery and fancy verbal acrobatics.
And there is only one group, that ever really thought of it that way in large numbers…children.

A few years back, as part of the on-going investigation of John Wiley Price a search warrant was executed at his home. A safe containing almost a quarter million dollars in cash was seized. Do you know anybody who leaves a quarter million lying around in US Treasury notes? At the very least the man should have bought some gold … but I digress.
BTW John Wiley Price is a county commissioner for Dallas County, Texas. Salary for that position is US 165,000 a year. Also seized were several cars and a number of expensive watches and rings beside ‘the cash’ (about US 229,000 to be quote a figure).
