My CO2 Undercover Investigation

I rode my super-stealth low-CO2 vehicle to the Rawhide coal death power plant, up near the Wyoming border. (I didn’t dare get any closer for fear of contracting asthma.)

ScreenHunter_1627 Apr. 25 12.06

This plant spews nocturnal CO2 emissions directly into the bosom of Gaia, 365 nights a year.

ScreenHunter_1629 Apr. 25 12.07

Gaia angrily reacts to this violation of her personal space, by producing extra amounts of organic produce.

ScreenHunter_1628 Apr. 25 12.06

ScreenHunter_1631 Apr. 25 12.07

And the impact on the local wildlife is devastating.

ScreenHunter_1630 Apr. 25 12.07

Stay tuned. Next week’s story is about frackers drilling Gaia. She really hates that.

They are not liberals! They use the cloak of “liberal” to fool fools.

The root of liberal is “liber”, Latin for “free”.

I am a devout Jeffersonian, and it is extremely insulting to Thomas Jefferson and lovers of freedom, to call Progressives/Fabians “liberal”.

Adopting the language of the oppressor is foolish. It is “Newspeak”.

“… language created (or co-opted) by the totalitarian state as a tool to limit freedom of thought…”

        • Gail Combs says:

          Gator,

The constant changing/corruption of the language not only confuses people it redirects energy to uselessarguments about the meaning of words. Amid all the confusion created the Prog/Fabians can hide their nasty agenda and convince people up is down.

The classic example is the co-opting of 1960/70 civil rights/freedoms and re-asigning it to the Demi-rats to get the negroes to vote for their oppressors.

          History of Democrat Racism

All too easily, America has fallen into the posture of believing racism is solely the property of Republicans and Conservatives. The truth is much different. Few know, or acknowledge, the Republican Party’s efforts to bring about Civil Rights legislation. The first article below has the timeline of Civil Rights Legislation. Click the link, and if you are interested only in the modern-day Civil Rights Act of 1964, skipped down the list to that year.

        • gator69 says:

I know of few human beings that would argue against their own freedoms.

Politicians divide us with BS terminology and issues, when in fact, the majority of us agree with each other on the basics. The left successfully co-opted the term liberal with the help of fools on both sides.

It also serves to confuse international debate, as left and right have different meanings across the pond. It is time we stop using the language of our oppressors.

It is like the “social justice” nonsense. Who would argue with “justice”?

Justice is getting what you deserve, and not stealing from others.

It is “Newspeak”, and it we must not be a part of it.

        • Winnipeg Boy says:

1.5b muslims are required to submit. They seem to like it.

        • gator69 says:

Actually, they seem to be making others submit. The 911 hijackers visited strip clubs and bars.

THE leader of the September 11 terrorists and four other hijackers made several trips to Las Vegas over the summer to hold meetings, gamble and be entertained by topless dancers.
According to the FBI, Mohamed Atta, the pilot of the first hijacked aircraft that crashed into the World Trade Centre, and his accomplices spent some of their time in Las Vegas at the Olympic Bar, a downtown strip club.
Lotfi Riassi, a pilot arrested in London on suspicion of teaching four hijackers how to fly, also stayed in the gambling city in Nevada. Investigators believe the September 11 plot was developed there.
But the Muslim fundamentalists, who supposedly believed that their terrorism would earn them the pleasures of eager virgins in heaven, also sampled some of the forbidden pleasures of America’s capital of decadence.
Samantha, a 29-year-old stripper, told the San Francisco Chronicle, that she had been paid to lap dance for Marwan al-Shehhi, the pilot of the second aircraft to hit the World Trade Centre.

          http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/1358665/Seedy-secrets-of-hijackers-who-broke-Muslim-laws.html

They certainly could have chosen to not go to Vegas, and get lap dances, and drink. Looks to me like they are hypocrites. I certainly don’t see them cutting their own heads off.

      • scizzorbill says:

Yo Gator. I am speaking of the current use of the word, which of course is a deception like the word progressive, adopted by the communists a century ago to fool the people. They are really regressives. Liberals suffer from Liberalism, a mental disorder which has its roots in narcissism.

        • gator69 says:

Yo Gator. I am speaking of the current use of the word…

Yes, it’s called “Newspeak”, and it is the language of your oppressors.

        • Gail Combs says:

Gator, that is why I switched to using Fabian Socialist/Progressives and never use ‘liberal’ or if I do use liberal it is ‘classic liberal’

        • gator69 says:

I too was once foolish enough to call Progtards “liberal”, but I stopped when I realized I was turning off many who might otherwise listen to reason.

A successful conquerer first divides his enemy. United we stand.

        • Marsh says:

The problem with Liberalism, and Liberals is the way in which Americans have applied a new negative context to its meaning. Currently, Australia has the Liberal Party in Govt.,
and they were quick to down grade the Climate Change agenda ; getting rid of advisers, committees & nutty AGW professors from the political spectrum ; that’s Liberal & good !

The Australian Liberal Party implied that CAGW is Not settled Science & requires further review to substantiate, this is in contrast with what is applied to it in the USA,, hello ??

It’s unfortunate some words “of the English language” are hijacked & misappropriated
to a new agenda ; the rest of the world can but look on with bewilderment. This new liberal term in context within the USA, represents a form of extremism, the very thing we are all trying to avoid around the World !

        • gator69 says:

          Exactly.

What happens is someone drags the sheepskin off the Fabian Wolf and the wolf scrambles to appropriate another sheepskin to hide under as the former label becomes toxic. That is why the names keep changing and the meanings of words keep changing.

An example is Fascism ====> Third Way.

  3. rah says:

Except the 365 days a year part. A coal fired unit, and that station has only one, must typically shut down about once a year for maintenance. Gas fired units, and are five at that location, also shut down periodically. So while the plant most certainly does pretty much produce Carbon Dioxide year round, there is probably a period of 2-4 weeks every year when none of it is from coal.

    • Andy DC says:

Nevertheless CO2 is an evil obnoxios gas, emitted by angry straight white males who tote guns, drive pickups and beat their wives.

      • rah says:

Hey man I got nothing against coal. Unlike most here I suspect, I have been in more than one subsurface mine and seen what coal mining it is about both underground and on the surface. And I have been in more coal prep plants, and in some cases worked there installing liners, than I care to remember.
Been to quite a few Coal mining shows also. Know what a Deister table is. Been to various Joy facilities. Was talking to the mine supervisor at a US Steel mine in PA when he was informed that they had run into a fault in the long wall that ended up shutting that mine down for good within a month.

And I have also seen what the UMW is about the hard way.

      • rah says:

Yes the story of the coal miners to me is the story of the rise and fall of the Unions. They needed the union and shed blood for it but once it came to power, like so many others, it became about the leaders wealth more than the welfare of the workers. There were 1,000s of strikes by workers during WW II but it seems like if anyone knows about any of them it will be the UMW, or what would become the UMW, strike. When Madam Chang was sitting at a dinner with Eleanor Roosevelt the subject of that strike came up. Eleanor asked the that woman, who was really the de facto leader of Nationalist China, what she would do about it. Madam Chang replied something to the effect that she would execute enough miners and their families to persuade the others to go back to work.

But all that aside. When your own precious ass is being threatened just because your trying to fulfill a contract that has nothing to do with issues they’re striking over nor will do anything but make the miners jobs easier once they go back to work, you don’t give a shit about all that.

Feeding Gaia one power plant at at time.
Is drilling and fracking Gaia similar to sex. Maybe it’s orgasmic.

    • gator69 says:

In the begining there was only chaos. Then out of the void appeared Erebus, the unknowable place where death dwells, and Night. All else was empty, silent, endless, darkness. Then somehow Love was born bringing a start of order. From Love came Light and Day. Once there was Light and Day, Gaia, the earth appeared.

Then Erebus slept with Night, who gave birth to Ether, the heavenly light, and to Day the earthly light. Then Night alone produced Doom, Fate, Death, Sleep, Dreams, Nemesis, and others that come to man out of darkness.

Meanwhile Gaia alone gave birth to Uranus, the heavens. Uranus became Gaia’s mate covering her on all sides. Together they produced the three Cyclopes, the three Hecatoncheires, and twelve Titans.

However, Uranus was a bad father and husband. He hated the Hecatoncheires. He imprisoned them by pushing them into the hidden places of the earth, Gaia’s womb. This angered Gaia and she plotted against Uranus. She made a flint sickle and tried to get her children to attack Uranus. All were too afraid except, the youngest Titan, Cronus.

Gaia and Cronus set up an ambush of Uranus as he lay with Gaia at night. Cronus grabed his father and castrated him, with the stone sickle, throwing the severed genitals into the ocean.

Lesson 1: Incest is just asking for trouble

Lesson 2: Don’t ever have sex with Gaia

Lesson3: This is why they are called “Titans”

    My Undercover Deceit investigation

In 1776 we were endowed by our Creator with “inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” but frightened world leaders hid the Creator from the public in 1945 – destroying the integrity of science and constitutional government.

“One day in August 1945, while standing in the ruins of Hiroshima,” a nuclear geochemist who later became known as Professor Paul Kazuo Kuroda concluded, the BEGINNING of the world may have been just like this.” [1]

Two months later – on 24 Oct 1945 – frighten world leaders united nations (UN) and national academies of science (NAS) to rule by deceit and forbid knowledge of neutron repulsionthe driving force for creation of chemical elements from neutrons in cores of atoms heavier than ~150 amu (atomic mass units), planets, stars, galaxies and the expanding universe. [2]

The Swedish and Norwegian NAS started giving Nobel and Crafoord Prizes for deceit.

We don’t like it, we don’t want to accept it, but reality is that every atom, life and world in the solar system – including the climate of every planet – is controlled by the PULSAR that:

    1. Made the atoms of our elements from neutrons
    2. Birthed the solar system five billion years (5 Ga) ago
    3. Sustained the origin and evolution of life on planet Earth after 3.5 Ga ago

    • gator69 says:

That is just plain dumb. Why would she want to promote Facebook?

      • Gail Combs says:

Because Facebook and NSA are cooperating to gather information on people, as Gator just posted. Anyone who uses facebook and logs onto Judith Curry’s website just toss out their privacy and also made it a lot easier to sift through the dross for the gems on Climate Deniers.

For some people such as you Gator that can be critical and it can place themselves and their family directly under the NSA’s microscope. We already know that scientists like Willie Soon are targeted. And Yes I know Curry was also named. However isn’t that a great way to cast her firmly into the sceptic camp and make her look good?

  12. gator69 says:

    Speaking of Newspeak!

“Climate Change” is the lukewarm term that rightwing spin maestro Frank Luntz understood would water down concerns about the warming of the planet, as first exposed by Oliver Burkeman in the Guardian, and Luntz succeeded in making it stick.

It’s about time we return the favor.

We need WWII-scale actions to transform our energy systems because energy “business as usual” will destroy our society.

The terms “Climate Change” or “Global Warming,” or even “Climate Crisis” or “Climate Disruption” do not conjure the urgency to get up and go do something about it.

The term “Climate Ruin” is much closer to the truth, and much more effective.

A journalist writing an article about America producing more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia might mention that all this new gas and oil will guarantee more “Climate Change,” but its easy to shrug that off.

However, if that article mentions that burning all that new American gas and oil guarantees “Climate Ruin,” that can’t just be swept under the rug, because people will fight to avoid a future where they are forced to abandon their homes and find a new place to try to survive.

      • wyoskeptic says:

I might as well admit it. I live in the middle of death ground. From a hill top not a mile from where I live, a total of six such plants are visible. Five at the Wyodak area complex and one, Dryfork, is farther to the north. Since this area is very nearly a desert, these six plants are all Air-cooled.

Funny thing. Have yet to lose anyone due to CO2 induced asthma, or due to Global warming overheating. Nearly lost some due to frostbite this last winter, however.

Relationship between major geophysical events and the planetary
magnetic Ap index, from 1844 to the present

Michele Casati (1) and Valentino Straser (2)
      (1) Altopascio (Lucca), Italy, (2) International Earthquake and Volcano Prediction Center,
      Orlando -Florida (USA)

      Abstract
In this study, for the first time, we compared the annual magnetic Ap index, taken from original sources, from 1844 to the present day [Svalgaard,2014], with:
      i) sixteen large volcanic eruptions of index VEI5 + recorded by, Smithsonian Institute (Global Volcanism Program),
ii) three sets of the volcanic aerosols data [Ammann et.al, 2003][Gao;Chaochao;Alan Robock;Caspar Ammann,2008][Traufetter et.al,2004] and
iii) eight major earthquakes of a magnitude between 8.7<M<9.5, which occurred from 1900 to the present.

We observe that the twenty four major geophysical events which occurred were in proximity to two specific thresholds, or limits, of the annual planetary Ap index. Specifically, in the downward phase of the planetary Ap index, under the annual value of 7 or, in the phase when the annual value exceeded 22. We identified a total of 14 transitions (eight in the solar minimum and six in the solar maxima) each with a period of about two and a half years making a total of almost 35 years of activity during the 169 years under review. During the 14 transitions 18 of the 24 major historical geophysical events occurred from 1844 to the present. Analysis of data shows a clear link between the electromagnetic (EM) dynamics recorded in large historical solar minima (Maunder, Dalton or solar minimum 1880-1920), the large solar maxima (solar cycles 19, 21 & 22) and the energy released during large geophysical events [Casati,2014].

The physical process of solar-terrestrial interaction, also reveal a deep and intrinsic relationship between the EM dynamics of the inner solar system and the temporal occurrence of major geophysical events. The references in scientific literature, in support of this work, are numerous: from empirical evidence, that we find in the late nineteenth century – early twentieth century, to more recent references. Some of which are: [Casey,2010][Charvátová, 2010][Choi, 2010][Duma; Vilardo, 1998][Khachikyan et al,2014][Kolvankar,2008][Kovalyov,2014][Mazzarella;Palumbo,1989][Stothers,1989][St?reštik,2003][Sytinsky,1987,1989, 1998].
