On Memorial Day eighty years ago, Texas received twenty-two inches of rain in less than three hours – the world record. CO2 was 304 PPM at the time.
Climate experts tell us that much less intense rainfalls this year in Texas are caused by 400 PPM CO2. Because they are clowns, not scientists.
But Steve you don’t understand. It’s not the 400 ppm that is the problem. CO2 has been higher in the past. It’s the *rate* of rise that is unprecedented and alarming and catastrophic.
CO2 has gone from 280 ppm to 400 ppm in 80 years. That’s 1.5 ppm / year. Unprecedented?
When a greenhouse worker gets to work in the morning, he or she raises the CO2 level from 400 ppm to 2000 ppm in 10 minutes. That’s (1600 ppm / 10 minutes) x (60 min / hour) x (24 hours / day) x (365 days / year) = 84,096,000 ppm / year. No, not unprecedented.
1.5 ppm / year = unprecedented and catastrophic.
84,096,000 ppm / year = everyday working conditions in every greenhouse.

You must be referring to inside the greenhouse (and probably one that may be “sealed”?)
I just do not see any other possibility for such a drastic increase in CO2 levels anywhere else. Plus, we ARE talking about a planetary-sized environment that also includes many green plants on land, and in the sea (algae). Being that water (mostly oceans) covers almost four fifths of the Earth’s surface, and humankind occupies about only 5% of the total ARABLE land mass of what amounts to the remaining one fifth of the Earth’s surface is hardly any ability for us to contribute to such a drastic increase in CO2 concentration in our environment. Sorry, but I call B— S— on this one! There is very little science to “Anthropogenic Global Warming”.

In REAL Science, the debate is NEVER over. Science is all about questioning and re-examining any and all theories, hypotheses, and ASSUMPTIONS. AGW, at best, is merely one of those assumptions, with enough falsified data and half-baked; unworkable “models” to confuse just about anybody on this issue.
Oh, and BTW,
It was Royal Dutch Shell-British Petroleum-Amoco who gave 25 Million Dollars towards funding the AGW (non-)”science” and the resulting movement behind it, NOT the so-called “deniers” as the establishment would put it. Look it up.

Well,I’m pretty sure that i’ve read some years ago somewhere that the world rainfall record happened in a south or middle american country where a hurricane got stuck between several mountains ,couldn’t move further and rained down 250inches+.(but i don’t know how many hours/days this lasted)
Considering that the world record for 1 month is 366 inches(cherrapunjee,july1861)

Another day of flooding in Texas. We are currently under a severe thunderstorm alert, and there have been periodic tornado watch boxes posted as the slowly moving line of thunderstorms has some biggies embedded in it.
