And the Larimer-Weld Canal has not filled this year even one time. I am looking at it right now and it is as low as it was on Christmas Day.

    • I have to ride my bike an extra two miles to get around that canal to get to downtown Ft.Collins. Always annoys me.

Water is finally coming up. So full of silt it flows like melted chocolate ice cream. It is a big ditch. There was a train trestle across it and Boxelder Creek at one time.

    • Poudre River is out of its banks as it passes through Windsor with many areas the bike path closed due to water covering the path. And I expect it will get worse as the rains continue with some roads, such as 7th Ave and Hwy 257, closed as they were last year’s flooding.

well, since the water is running right down the river and out of Colorado, Present-Snit Obola is right, you stupid H8rs!

    😉

Well there you go! Global Warming aka CO2 had driven the water into the river thereby robbing the state of this precious resource. We need more grant money to study this important issue!

What would the graph look like if it was linear vs. logrithemic?

  6. pyromancer76 says:

Sure wish that drainage was into the Colorado River. “Wrong” drainage area!. Are there any tunnels that could be cut?

  7. Fred says:

There sure was not much snow pack at silverthorn last month, or rabbit ears .

    • annieoakley says:

2015 is not over. Still horizontal snow from the east. The grass is covered and the radar shows a counter clockwise storm hitting the mountains. Classic Colorado.

Colorado snowpack is lower than normal. also the winter was mild and spring has been warm causing and early melt. so actually this article is misleading.
