there is a 9 1/2% chance of snow being reported during the height of the cold season in mid January.

They can and often DO, depending on the level of “exposure”. Being exposed to about 1500 W of microwave emissions (at 2.45GHz) concentrated at you, could greatly affect your mortality within seconds!
