I love those old sub photos. TV here in OZ just had a special on the NASA space missions in the 1960’s. They were amazing engineers able to “go where no man has gone before”.

Wow! You are certainly right about the hookers. I was in downtown DC a couple Saturday nights ago and the hookers were wall to wall for blocks on end. There were tons of police cars out there, police not arresting, but presumably protecting the hookers, who did not seem the least big afraid of them.
This was not in the bad areas, rather the “gentrified” areas with million dollar condos. I would not live there for all the tea in China.
