Few people can pack as many lies into two paragraphs as Barack Obama.
“If we do nothing, Alaskan temperatures are expected to rise between six and twelve degrees by the end of the century, changing all sorts of industries forever. This is all real. This is happening to our fellow Americans right now.”
“Alaska’s governor recently told me that four villages are in imminent danger and need to be relocated. Already rising sea levels are beginning to swallow an island community.”
According to the University of Alaska, temperatures in Alaska have fallen 0.1 degrees since 1977. That extrapolates out to a rise of zero degrees by the end of the century, not “six to twelve degrees” as Obama claims.

According to NOAA, sea level is falling at 14 out of 17 Alaskan tide gauges. Obama’s claim that sea level rise is “beginning to swallow an island” is absurd.

But Obama’s most ridiculous claim is that we can “do something about it.” Do something about what? Falling temperatures? Falling sea level? What does he propose to do about that?
What can ‘we’ do?
Raise taxes, destroy industrial capacity and make people more reliant on government.
There was one word missing from Obama’s statement
“Folks”. These folks need your and my help.

Obviously we need more atmospheric CO2,
Since CO2 causes warming and the sea level rise….
….more CO2 is needed to reverse the current trends.

For Anchorage I have -0.2K for same period 1977-2014
I am not sure if that calculates to -0.6F?
I also think we should exclude the Barrow result, as it is a complete out=lier, due to the warmer Gulf stream during [most of ] this period

I guess those that had the stomach to watch the debate heard Uncle Bernie say that climate change was the most important threat we face. Like a couple degrees of warming (which isn’t happening) would do in a frigid place like Vermont.
What those couple of degrees may do is unfreeze the resident’s brains and make them smart enough to spend their own money and put the ruling class out of work.
Well, it’s obvious isn’t it. Alaska needs some more ice to weigh it down. That should fix the falling sea levels.
I don’t think even Obama’s advisers are making these claims. He’s making it all up himself. What a complete piece of shit.
He wants us to surrender our guns, and he sends weapons to the Saudis. I have an idea….take my butcher knives and send them to the Moslems, that’s what they use anyway, and let me keep my fowling piece.

However, looking at it from 2000 it is -0.105K/annum
that is -1.5K cooler then it was in 2000…..
