Dogma is teaching. Don’t scientists and even pseudo-scientists teach what they have learned, much of it needing to be “updated” with further knowledge? Having faith in God, who never changes, does not negate right reason. Having faith in science is a constant readjustment. I can live with science as long as I do not make it a religion, as so many do.
Faith: where charlatans, climate alarmists, and con artists live, move, and have their being. Without faith, people would have to face reality.

Mysticism is watered down with enough hypocrisy to keep the altruism from killing them all–as at the People’s Temple in Guyana, or German Positive Christianity till 1945. The key here is how altruism–and the notion that communist countries are backward because you have not sacrificed enough for them–leads to the spurious conclusion that looters crippled by their own barbarism have a parasitical “right” to use coercion to exact transfer payments from those who prefer science and survival to coercive religion and death.

Christ was one of the most Non-religious figures, and faith, not man’s religion is what is important – their are as many different religions, and different practices their of, that to label gets things very confused – I will agree that some religions, and some sects of some religions, and ONE huge religion (a branch of my faith, does use their power, in a man made institution to control). Indulge me with one more post please – my Church, is one place I come together with like minded people, we do not think, AT ALL, that we are controlled by fear. It is a willing relationship, and that is common among most Christians. It’s not the Dark ages in Religion, but I fear it is going that way in science. That Adolf Hitler was a stout defender of and believer in Christian theology is clearly spelled out in everything he ever wrote and said–including his endorsement of Henry Ford.
