  1. The upper apartments are more expensive because people are worried that the lower apartments will be underwater when Miami becomes the new Venice and people are paddling around Miami in gondolas.

It was a shock when I finally realized that government-funded science was a tool of government propaganda. That violated everything I believed about science as a scared path to truth.

      “It was a shock ……”

…. and you have never really recovered, have you !

      “scared path to truth”
Have you been playing the home version of “Naked and Afraid” again? Copernicus (discoverer of the infinite neutron repulsion heat source at the center of Uranis, pen pal to Stalin, Galileo, Bill Nye, and Orwell) would not approve. [/tinFoilHat].

    • powers2be says:

Scared or sacred? Not judging just looking for clarification. They could both work as many scientists are cowered by the threat of lost funding and even blacklisting.

      • omanuel says:

I am not “SCARED” because I still know science is the “SACRED” path to truth, and . . .

        TRUTH IS VICTORIOUS
        NEVER UNTRUTH
        .”

      • omanuel says:

The above quote is from the Upanishads, Qur’an, etc.

There is probably no better confirmation that spiritual mediation and scientific experimentation are separate paths to the same reality . . .

than witnessing the absurdity of false pride and blind arrogance in world leaders now united to hide the source of energy (NEUTRON REPULSION” indelibly recorded in rest masses of the 3,000 types of atoms that compromise all matter ).

I was at the beach the other day, and a sudden sea level rise caused the bottom of my jeans to get wet.

Like omanuel, I shall never recover from this shock !!!

    • powers2be says:

That darn sea level it can be so fickle. One minute it is whispering sweet nothing and tickling your toes but dare look away and she will leave you for another pair of jeans.

My house is at 951 ft (290 m) elevation. No worries for me about sea levels. However the water table is pretty high here. My well is 82 ft deep and had over 65 ft.of head a couple of years ago when I replaced the submersible pump. So no worries about me for having water either. But on the other hand I have to drive about 650 mi to reach the Atlantic and about 200 mi even further to reach a really desirable beach. It’s over 1,100 mi to get to the families vacation house on the Gulf in Port Charlotte, FL

It’s worse than we thought! Look at all the climate refugees camped out on the sand. Obviously they are desperately poor, just look at how little clothing they own!

You can see many being carried away by the rising waters, and they are so malnourished they cannot fight the pull of the tide.

    The horror!

    • Andy DC says:

We human frogs, who are too stupid to notice that we slowing heating up to a boil in the pot, keep jumping south into an even hotter pot. I wonder why?

  6. New Year’s Day, 1928, Florida was surrounded by the Navy and Coast guard to cut off bootleg smuggling. Bank failures promptly increased, and the media a half-century later blamed it on the sudden discovery that hurricanes occasionally swept the Sunshine State.

    • Jason Calley says:

LOL! Laundering drug money is STILL a major source of income for the too-big-to-fail banks. Probably the smaller ones as well.

      • gator69 says:

Thanks to anti-money laundering regulations, you will not be finding any laundered money in US banks. I would love to tell you all about the techniques we now employ, but I would be breaking federal law if I did. Old wives takes about banks are hard to kill, because so many want to believe they are true.

The Boston area is girding for a double post-winter whammy of up to 5 inches of snow today, topped off by a possible flash freeze during tonight’s commute when temperatures are forecast to slip into the 20s.

And this is why its so “hot” in northern Russia. (looks like one of your graphs, SG)
