I think the Democrats/MSM have “over egged” these sleeze attacks to the extent that most voters will not be persuaded either way and the others will have become totally bored with it.

    • Jack Striker says:

In the same way that the candidates oversaturated the airwaves with advertisement last time around, the lügenpresse has done the same with lies about both candidates in 2016.

It will take a right proper revelation from Wikileaks or elsewhere to swing the favor of independents in these last few critical days. Hopefully it’s something so damaging that Clinton loses an entire category of support. Wishful thinking, but maybe something to even swing a single hard blue state… Illinois, perhaps, as Chicago’s the only reason it goes blue.

      • Ross says:

If there is any truth to this report it may not need Wikileaks.

I realise RT is largely the Russian Govt. propaganda arm but I can’t workout why they would fabricate this. Equally I cannot work out why the US Govt. would be so stupid to do this at this time ( or any time).
If true then it is gold for Trump.

        • richard verney says:

Almost all media is a government voice box. RT has some very good programs on it.

As long as you are aware of its political bent, it is a good idea to watch news from different sources. This will give a better insight into what is truly going on.

RT had very good coverage on Libya post the disastrous intervention by the west. I watched it regularly during that time and if one had been watching RT then the incident at Benghazi would not have come as a shock.

          • Ross says:

I agree Richard –I watch RT regularly , but I just wanted avoid someone trying to shut down discussion of the article by saying “that’s just RT” which is what happened on another blog.

Judicial Watch: New Benghazi Email Shows DOD Offered State Department “Forces that Could Move to Benghazi” Immediately – Specifics Blacked Out in New Document

“They are spinning up as we speak.” U.S. Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash Tuesday, September 11, 2012, 7:19 PM

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.

Bash’s email seems to directly contradict testimony given by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta before the Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”

The first assault occurred at the main compound at about 9:40 pm local time – 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, DC. The second attack on a CIA annex 1.2 miles away began three hours later, at about 12 am local time the following morning (6 p.m. ET), and ended at approximately 5:15 a.m. local time (11:15 p.m. ET) with a mortar attack that killed security officers Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty….

Ian W over at Chiefio added
“Flight time Naples where special forces were on standby to Benghazi on a routine not hurried flight would be ~ 1 hour 40 minutes. For top cover fighter aircraft around half that…

IMHO Hillary is an accessory before the fact…
Judicial Watch: Defense, State Department Documents Reveal Obama Administration Knew that al Qaeda Terrorists Had Planned Benghazi Attack 10 Days in Advance
Administration knew three months before the November 2012 presidential election of ISIS plans to establish a caliphate in Iraq
Administration knew of arms being shipped from Benghazi to Syria

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained more than 100 pages of previously classified “Secret” documents from the Department of Defense (DOD)and the Department of State revealing that DOD almost immediately reported that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was committed by the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR), and had been planned at least 10 days in advance. Rahman is known as the Blind Sheikh, and is serving life in prison for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist acts. The new documents also provide the first official confirmation that shows the U.S. government was aware of arms shipments from Benghazi to Syria. The documents also include an August 2012 analysis warning of the rise of ISIS and the predicted failure of the Obama policy of regime change in Syria.
The documents were released in response to a court order in accordance with a May 15, 2014, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against both the DOD and State Department seeking communications between the two agencies and congressional leaders “on matters related to the activities of any agency or department of the U.S. government at the Special Mission Compound and/or classified annex in Benghazi.” ….

“These documents are jaw-dropping. No wonder we had to file more FOIA lawsuits and wait over two years for them. If the American people had known the truth – that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other top administration officials knew that the Benghazi attack was an al-Qaeda terrorist attack from the get-go – and yet lied and covered this fact up – Mitt Romney might very well be president. And why would the Obama administration continue to support the Muslim Brotherhood even after it knew it was tied to the Benghazi terrorist attack and to al Qaeda? These documents also point to connection between the collapse in Libya and the ISIS war – and confirm that the U.S. knew remarkable details about the transfer of arms from Benghazi to Syrian jihadists,” stated Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch president. “These documents show that the Benghazi cover-up has continued for years and is only unraveling through our independent lawsuits. The Benghazi scandal just got a whole lot worse for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.”

Judicial Watch has a lot more such as this:

I have been in contact with Chas Freeman, former ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and he has sent me his most recent public speech on the subject. He says the policy part is toward the end, and that King Abdullah’s new university (KAUST) is an important initiative. He also relates that the atmosphere is near toxic because of Obama’s failure to follow up his Cairo speech and the rebuff from Netanyahu. Cynicism, at best, is pervasive among the Saudi elite.

….we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region….

If the USA had provided the support asked for by Stevens this would have happened:

“…7. (Note: A source in Tripoli stated in confidence that when the U.S. Embassy was evacuated, the presence of two U.S. Navy jet fighters over the city brought all fighting to a halt for several hours, as Islamist forces were not certain that these aircraft would not also provide close ground support for moderate government forces.)…

….the advance of ISIL through Iraq gives the U.S. Government an opportunity to change the way it deals with the chaotic security situation in North Africa and the Middle East. The most important factor in this matter is to make use of intelligence resources and Special Operations troops in an aggressive manner, while avoiding the old school solution, which calls for more traditional military operations. In Iraq it is important that we engage ISIL using the resources of the Peshmerga fighters of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), and what, if any, reliable units exist in the Iraqi Army. The Peshmerga commanders are aggressive hard fighting troops, who have long standing relationships with CIA officers and Special Forces operators. However, they will need the continued commitment of U.S. personnel to work with them as advisors and strategic planners….

Meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif.

… 8. He spent a good deal of time discussing Saudi Arabia. He said since his first days in office he has sought a dialogue, but Iranian overtures have been rebuffed. He was told by the Saudis, “leave the Arabs to ourselves”. He recounted that he left the World Economic Forum immediately and made the long trip to Saudi Arabia for the funeral of King Abdullah. But he received barely a handshake for his efforts. Saudi Arabia also sees relations with Iran as a zero sum game. The Saudis think ISIS can help them against Iran. Iran has sent a new Ambassador to Saudi Arabia who they trust, and he hopes this will help the relationship.

Remember Huma is connected to Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood. Skuttlebut is she is slated to be US Sec of State.

Hillary Clinton Said The “Saudis In Particular Are Not Necessarily The Stablest Regimes That You Can Find On The Planet.”

“So mutually assured destruction as we had with Europe in the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s until the fall of the Soviet Union is much harder to do with the gulf states and it will be unlikely to occur because they will think that they have to defend themselves. And they will get into the business of nuclear weapons, and these are—the Saudis in particular are not necessarily the stablest regimes that you can find on the planet. So it’s fraught with all kinds of problems.” [ Speech to Goldman Sachs, 2013 IBD Ceo Annual Conference, 6/4/13]

Clinton Said Most Muslims Were Peaceful, But “We Can’t Close Our Eyes To The Fact That There Is A Distorted And Dangerous Strain Of Extremism” Spreading Within The Muslim World.

“And I want to be clear, Islam itself is not the adversary. The vast majority of Muslims living here in Canada and the United States are peaceful and tolerant people. We see that every day in our neighborhoods, among those with whom we go to school or work or trade. But we can’t close our eyes to the fact that there is a distorted and dangerous strain of extremism within the Muslim world that continues to spread.” [Hillary Clinton Remarks for tinePublic – Saskatoon, Canada, 1/21/14]

Clinton Discussed Lack Of Institutions In Libya After Gaddafi’s Fall.

“Now, you know, in Libya, the United Nations voted how to protect civilians. And the coalition that was put together was unprecedented. It was NATO plus the Arab League. That had never happened before. The over flights, the boat, air, sea and land efforts included Arab nations as well as Europeans, Canadians and Americans. Khadafy was told but then, you know, the lid was taken off. You have a country that had been under the thumb of Khadafy and his henchmen for 42 years. All institutions were destroyed. There was not even a military because he didn’t trust anybody since he had been a Colonel who had done a coup, so he had mercenaries, there were African mercenaries and some European mercenaries that were in his direct pay. They had really just conducted themselves as if the entire Libyan oil fortune was personally theirs.” [Clinton Remarks At Boston Consulting Group, 6/20/13]

Clinton Said Libya Could Not Provide Security

“As We Found Much To, You Know, Our Terrible Experience In Benghazi.” “So what happened? Well, Khadafy is gone. They start to organize. They had one of the best elections that any of these new countries had. They did not elect extremists. They had a very good outcome of people representing the various factions, but they didn’t, they don’t have a military. They can’t provide security as we found much to, you know, our terrible experience in Benghazi, but we see it all over the country. So the jury is out but it is not for lack of trying by the people who have inherited the positions of responsibility.” [Clinton Remarks At Boston Consulting Group, 6/20/13]

Many people may have heard the term “the politics of personal destruction”, describing an ‘anything-goes-approach’ toward destroying political opponents. However, what many people might not know is the phrase was actually coined to describe the Clintons life-long and historic approach toward politics.

Today, Donald Trump discussed this aspect in part of his Florida speech…

  2. gregole says:

That was one brilliant political speech.

MSM has totally lost it. The NYT has no more credibility for me than the rags in the check out stand reporting on Elvis sightings.

I used to love magazines. I subscribed to Newsweek, Scientific American, you name it. I so looked forward to each edition – I loved reading them with their snappy prose and fun little articles. I wasn’t too terribly swayed by them politically, but they were still fun.

Then 2009 and Climategate. I was so sure I would see some reporting on the leaks. Nothing. It really blew my mind. If they were covering up such a huge story, what else were they covering up, ignoring, and flat-out lying about? I started to fact check and found out they were basically lying about just about everything. But worst of all, they would simply ignore stories and ignore events. This, for me was a life-changing discovery.

I cancelled all my subscriptions. I get the American Conservative and read blogs and research things from independent sources. It is staggering how much we, the American public, are misled and subjected to never-ending snow-jobs from our so-called leaders and media.

This election cycle, the media has hit rock bottom both in credibility, and in their own content. By some demographic measures, something like 94% have about as much faith in the media as I have – meaning a mere 6% pay attention to their messaging. And note, a lot of people simply do not read anything at all – sad but true.

If the media was doing their job, Hillery would never have been nominated. Clearly she represents a criminal syndicate; she’s the proverbial tip of the iceberg, further, she is totally incompetent in government service. She sucked as first lady, did absolutely nothing as a senator, was a horrible insult to the state department, and is a joke of a candidate.

What has really changed is the blogosphere. It is simply taking over what MSM should be doing.

    We live in interesting times.

There’s one thing that Mr. Trump has missed due to his political innocence … while he may be proud of the fact that he has a small, lean staff (an asset in business), in politics you need a fat staff because their business is so rotten … a dishonest candidate such as Mrs. Clinton needs plausible deniability … and she and her staff can so obfuscate any issue, that the truth can take several months to uncover … if ever.

The next three and a half weeks are going to be most interesting … especially if Mr. Trump’s team unleashes any legal action, such as today’s “cease and desist” letter from Mrs. Trumps lawyers to People mag

Perhaps the Clinton machine is starting to crack under the growing pressure.

I disagree because Trump is by FAR the better choice. He has some flaws but has NO history of murder, bald faced lies and the always sudden “I can’t remember” crapola, that Hillary is full of.

His staff size has ZERO bearing on my voting choice, know first hand that Hillary is a totally vile human being, who should NEVER be allowed in the White House. While Trump genuinely love America, who wants the nation to do better, with a lot of leftist crap thrown into the garbage can.

To see what happens next try reading – ‘Decline & fall of the Roman Empire’ Edward Gibbon; there are so many parallels it’s uncanny.

We never learn from history & think doing the same again & again will lead to a different outcome

    • Gail Combs says:

Don’t complain. At least we have a choice between Trump and Clinton.

Trump is intelligent, he has proven he can pick good people, promises to cut regs by 70%, Thinks CAGW is a hoax, wants US energy, will support the Constitution and 2nd Amendment, understands ‘pay for play’ and the dirty underside of politics. He has already published his list of Supreme Court picks too. (I read his books and watch a lot of his rally speeches.)

The original PLANNED choice was between Jeb the Twig and Killary Clinton.

This is why Hillary killed off all the other Democrat challengers like Biden and Warren (She had moles there as well as in Bernie’s camp) This is why the Republicans fielded 17 candidates. If there was no clear majority the GOP elite would get to choose the candidate and it would have been Jeb. This is why the Bushs’ nose are out of joint and the GOPe is doing everything they can to sabotage Trump. He and the American people walked in and TOOK the GOP right out from under the elite and they are mad as he!! about it.

      • Gail Combs says:

OH, and if you do not like the way the politics are played get involved at the local level. If we want our country back we have to get off our butts and TAKE it back.

Twenty minute video by Heritage Foundation on the current state of the nuclear missile threat and out ability to defeat incoming warheads with an anti-missile system. Has a few minor over simplifications but otherwise a good overview of the threat….

This is why the country CAN NOT afford 4 more years of disasterous leadership.

The Clintons already gave nukes to North Korea and our technology to China. Obama finished it up with giving nukes to Iraq.

Chasing the Dragon: Clinton’s China Policy

…Bill Clinton took contributions he knew came from China, and played another angle as well. US companies wanted to sell China military technology, but the sales were prohibited by law. Economic sanctions for the Tiananmen square massacre and restrictions on technology exports prevented these companies from selling China the armaments they wanted.

In return for campaign contributions, the President shifted regulation of technology exports from the State Department to the free-wheeling Commerce department. The administration also relaxed export controls and allowed corporations to decide if their technology transfers were legal or not. When easing restrictions wasn’t enough, Clinton signed waivers that simply circumvented the law. The President’s waivers allowed the export of machine tools, defense electronics, and even a communications system for the Chinese Air Force.

Bernard Schwartz and Michael Armstrong, the CEOs of Loral and Hughes, each donated over one million dollars to Clinton’s re-election campaign. These companies had an interest in seeing China develop reliable missiles to loft their satellites into orbit. Clinton arranged direct talks between Bernard Schwartz and a Chinese general to improve China’s rocket technology. Michael Armstrong was made head of the Export Advisory Council. Both companies were allowed to upgrade the launching and guidance of China’s missiles.

Clinton even involved the Department of Energy, caretaker of our nuclear weapons, in his fundraising schemes. In 1994 and ’95 then Energy Secretary Hazel O’Leary accompanied Johnny Chung, John Huang, Charlie Trie, and Bernard Schwartz on trade missions to China. Shortly afterward the DOE relaxed security at US weapons labs. Wen Ho Lee, an ethnic Chinese physicist assigned to Los Alamos, illegally transferred data on nuclear warheads to his private computer files.

In June of 1995, the CIA learned that China had stolen the crown jewels of our nuclear arsenal, including the neutron bomb and the W-88 miniaturized warhead. Later that year National Security Advisor Anthony Lake is briefed on the thefts. He is replaced on the Security Council by Sandy Berger, a former lobbyist for the Chinese government. In June of 1996, before Bill Clinton’s re-election, the FBI opens a formal investigation into the theft of US nuclear weapon designs.

Proof of China’s military intentions came in March of 1996, on the eve of Taiwan’s first democratic elections. China used the threat of force to intimidate the island nation into electing a pro-Beijing candidate. Military maneuvers included bombing runs and launching ballistic missiles that impacted within twenty miles of Taiwan. When the US sent an aircraft carrier into the Taiwan Straits, a Chinese general threatened to “rain down nukes upon Los Angeles”.

  6. Steve Case says:

Democrats don’t line capitalism, they don’t like corporations and the executives that run them. They don’t like big business, don’t like coal, oil, fracking for natural gas, and they don’t like nuclear power. They think we can run the world’s economy on wind mills and solar power for God’s sake. Liberal Democrats make fun of traditional family values and embrace promiscuity and perverted behavior. They have no respect for the military and sneer at organized religion. They have a special dislike for the police. Just Google “Who funds Black Lives Matter” and see who comes up. Liberal Democrats believe that guaranteed wages, guaranteed jobs and strong central planning is the best model for a successful society. They ignore the fact that socialist experiments have consistently failed. A vote for Mrs. Clinton insures that these negative political views will continue to be the foundation of the United States government.

Mr. Trump says he will do a lot of things. Well good luck, but he won’t be promoting open season on cops, windmills, a national police force, open borders and other policies of the looney left.

I watched several of Trump’s speeches in the last couple of days, and he is doing very well. Thousands of people at every rally.

Trump needs to continue to do these speeches, as this is the only way the people will hear about all the corruption with which Hillary is involved. The Leftwing Media won’t tell the Clinton corruption story, they are censoring it, so it is left to Trump to tell it for them. And from what I saw, he was doing a pretty good job of it in these latest speeches.

Trump ought to spend some money on some Hillary infomercials that detail all Hillary’s lies and corruption and criminal behavior. Tell the Catholic and Evagelicals what the Clinton Leftists think about them. Tell them how they denigrate Latinos and Blacks. Tell them how she says one thing in public and another thing in private. Expose this woman for what she is. That’s my advice.

    • Gail Combs says:

You will probably see that (TV ads) in the last week or two.

The rest of the time Trump is going into places like Detroit that politicians ignore. When he comes back a second time, people drag their friends to the rally so you have 20,000 people at the rally. I haven’t gone but I understand the energy is amazing. People who do not get into the venue still stick around even in the rain!

Also Trump has huge numbers of facebook and twitter followers.
