   Your point is that GISS “tamperature” isn’t from satellites and more importantly doesn’t agree with the satellite temperature.

   I followed the link, and you know what? They also tell us about sea level. Scroll down on the link where you will find where they say:

   Global sea level rose about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches) in the last century. The rate in the last decade, however, is nearly double that of the last century…

   Nearly double is bullshit compared to what the tide gauges say.

   You know, it’s interesting, NOAA manipulates the ground station data for “tamperature” and manipulates the satellite data for sea level. I’m guessing they haven’t figured out a way to manipulate the tide gauge data. I wonder how much pressure they are putting on The Permanent Service for Sea Level

   It is so amazing that the press takes this BS and prints it with an alarming headline, in my paper it is usually on the “science” page of the paper. How can a gullible person get this almost daily regurgitation of tripe and not be affected by it?

   Thanks goodness we have places like this one that has facts.
