Spreading The Word About Climate Fraud In Texas

Katherine Hayhoe has been having a hard time convincing Texans they are getting hotter.

This is largely due to the fact that Texas isn’t getting hotter.

screen-shot-2016-10-16-at-6-10-14-am

NOAA is trying to help her out though, by massively tampering with Texas temperature data.

The animation below shows how NOAA turns Texas cooling into warming, but altering their own data.

The data tampering is nearly linear, with NOAA cooling the past at 1.7 degrees per century. screen-shot-2016-10-16-at-6-07-57-am

NOAA ramped up their massive fraud sometime in the last five years. This is what their 1895-2011 Texas winter temperature graph looked like five years ago.

And this is what the same graph looks like now. They turned their own cooling trend into a warming trend, by doing nothing other than data tampering.

Mosher says this is all top science, and Katherine Hayhoe agrees with him.

Using NOAAs “Climate at a Glance” which Steve Case was nice enough to provide a link for it seems that NOAA says that summer highs are trending down. Perhaps the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing?:

    • tonyheller says:

This is what the June-August data actually looks like before tampering

      • RAH says:

Besides flattening trend line the whole NOAA graph shows a cooler past than yours, which is the same modus operandi that they have been using for global surface temps.

        • Steve Case says:

          Thanks Tony and Thanks RAH

I’ve been beating the “Even NOAA’s Climate at a glance shows that Maximum temperatures are dropping for most of the United States.” drum.

The NOAA web site uses rigged data, but I find it interesting and useful to point out to our friends on the left that summer time high temperatures are dropping for nearly all the states east of the Rockies and have been doing so since the 19th century. Using their own data to tell them they’re full of crap has value.

Here’s the contiguous U.S. Max Temp trend since 1930 for all the summer months, June through September

          • garyh845 says:

Darn – I think what is happening here, is every time someone posts something generated from their data (that includes the EPA with the new newfangled ‘extreme heat wave graphic’), NOAA or NASA set about to adjust the data. Looks like we’d better save the pic.

      • Frank Janecek says:

Where can I get the actual data without tampering? What is the website?

      • sam says:

I put some of these charts up at SS and asked them to explain why the measured data shows cooling while the adjusted shows warming, it’s on page 8:
        http://www.skepticalscience.com/argument.php?p=8&t=378&&a=110#comments

They started rambling responses that said nothing more than this vague “The un-adjusted data has ‘systemic errors'” they then put up more charts that include adjusted data, like that was supposed to be impressive since I just exposed the fact that all these charts are adjusted and they had replied by simply saying that you have to adjust charts because of “systemic errors”.

      • Andy DC says:

The “permanent” heat/drought of 2011, which was featured at the Democrat Convention this summer, ended up being a one year wonder. But according to the leading climate scientists who concocted the video, it was still ongoing in 2016, which is a pure unadulterated lie.

The media made a huge to do about some spicey locker room language that Trump used in an all male setting as a private citizen. But Hillary’s obvious criminal activity while Secretary of State and the Democrats telling repeated, knowing, blatant lies about important policy issues is apparently non nearly as important to the LSM.

      • Brad Nabors says:

Could you provide a link to the source for the data before tampering? Thanks!

  2. Andy DC says:

They say “Don’t mess with Texas”, but our leading climate scientists sure had no qualms about messing with Texas temperature data!

    • RAH says:

And several are employed by states Universities. Though I wouldn’t call them “leading” in anything but deception and lies.

      John Nielsen-Gammon (Texas state climatologist and prof atmospheric sciences, Texas A&M): “This drought has almost singlehandedly put an end to the trend of reduced drought frequency and intensity that Texas had been experiencing. … The [continuing] drought of 2011–20xx has taught us something we didn’t know: Rather than being a thing of the past, Texas drought can be worse than we imagined.”  {Texas Climate News, 12 October 2013}

      “Texas Climate News sought out the state’s finest climatologists, oceanographers and public-policy experts. If nothing else, their responses make clear that the Lone Star State is headed for a new normal. Pretending it isn’t happening is not a viable option.”  {Dallas Observer, 14 October 2013}

“Fear in a Handful Of Dust” by Ted Genoways, The New Republic: “Climate change is making the Texas panhandle, birthplace of the state’s iconic Longhorn, too hot and dry to raise beef. … environmental activists and reporters began to ask whether “drought” — a temporary weather pattern — was really the right term for what was happening in the state, or whether “desertification” was more appropriate. … ‘If climate change is the real deal then the human race as we know it is over’.”

  3. Andy DC says:

Every idiot knows that there are no valid weather records prior to 1979, as before satellites, humans had not evolved far enough to read a thermometer and record the temperature. Especially the basket of deplorables ( bigoted white males) that lived in Texas back then.

Thus if you throw out all the records prior to the record cold years of the 1970’s, there has been a warming trend ever since!

  4. No Mo Dupe says:

…but, but, but 110% of scientists say the science is settled and there is a consensus. How dare you present these facts! NASA and NOAA should seek an injunction against this website for posting such hurtful lies. Think of the children!

  5. mat says:

  6. Steve Case says:

Here’s a You Tube of Hayhoe from a few years back where she says she recommends
    http://www.skepticalscience.com/
fast forward to time mark 4:20

  7. Richard says:

This hot weather in Texas is sure having an effect-
    Aug 2016-
“Coastal Bend grain elevators make room for bumper crops
Farmers in the Coastal Bend region are nearly complete with corn harvest, and grain elevators are trying to make room for the bumper crop”

    http://texasfarmbureau.org/coastal-bend-grain-elevators-make-room-bumper-crops/

Not bad for a state where drought resistant prairie grass grew across it until Mr John Deere steel ploughs ploughed it up in the 19th Century.

  8. When I saw the graph with the tamperable data zooming skyward while the satellite data kept horizontal as of the Y2k election, those Green spoiler votes came to mind. This is graphic testimony to the power of voting outside the herd. These are sooo much easier to understand now. Thanks

  9. garyh845 says:

Tony – I saved the annual average temp plot from NOAA through 2012. You’ll note that the trend was meaningless at the time – and graphically, looks like 1921 and 2012 tied.

They fixed that, didn’t they; demonstrating some real ‘man-made’ global warming.

  10. oldbrew says:

Perhaps they should call the adjusted data ‘tamperatures’ :|

  11. Steve Case says:

Just now, my bookmark to Climate at a Glance says:

I suppose they really aren’t putting up new “tamperatures” as we watch, but I do have to wonder.

  12. Guest 101 says:

    Mr. Heller,

I just came across your research and it really resonated with, but today I found some additional information, which confirms the ”official” climate/temperature research data.

I am sure you have addressed this issue before, but as I said, I am new to this information and would like your personal take on it, because I am somewhat confused right now:

”The most important bias in the U.S. temperature record occurred with the systematic change in observing times from the afternoon, when it is warm, to morning, when it is cooler. This shift has resulted in a well documented increasing cool bias over the last several decades and is addressed by applying a correction to the data.” – http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/monitoring-references/faq/temperature-monitoring.php

    Thank you very much.

  13. CheshireRed says:

This is the sort of stuff that makes alarmists look stupid.

Any impartial observer can look at this – a cooling trend repeatedly homogenised and adjusted to show the exact opposite – a warming trend, and draw their own conclusions. If this happened here or there – with the opposite reversal also happening occasionally, nobody would smell a rat. But it doesn’t. Instead it’s a one-way street of adjusted climate data bullshit, and they did this without expecting to be caught out for even a single second. But having adjusted and THEN been caught out, they cannot retreat. Tony has done them like a kipper, and all it needs is for someone in authority with morals to act like they should and be holding these climate liars to account.

  14. Oliver K. Manuel says:

Thanks, Tony, for clearly identifying climate fraud in Texas.

On 13 Oct a paper was accepted for publication showing the influence of solar cosmic rays on Earth’s climate and worldwide misrepresentation of nuclear and solar energy for the past eighty years ago:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10640850/COSMIC_RAYS.pdf

The error introduced by Weizsacker, Bethe and Bacher was shown graphically in three earlier 2016 papers by the sloping baselines they used to calculate, rather than using measured rest mass (m), nuclear energy (E).

  15. Steve Case says:

    Well,
    http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cag/
is up, but isn’t working, no graph, no data.

  16. aeroguy48 says:

Here in North Texas, my Okra hasn’t done worth a darn this year. May was cool and wet, stunting the growth. Then in August it was cool cloudy and wet. Okra needs lots of hot sun to grow. The enormous amount of rain we have had these last 2 years has made the trees grow, providing too much shade for decent crops~ at least in my backyard.

    • Steve Case says:

Aeroguy does that handle mean you get up in the sky every now and then?

Drove through the Texas panhandle a few months back, the forest of windmills was depressing. Some time in the future when the United States is finally bankrupt and the subsidies stop they will stand mute reminding us of the folly called Climate Change.

      • aeroguy48 says:

I am not a pilot, just to lazy to come up with a jazzy name, different than my email.., I spent many years in aircraft manufacturing, then got laid off due to outsourcing to China Mexico etc. I’m a long time reader of Steve Goddard is all.
I occasionally get solicitations for a new energy supply company, they try and throw in teaser rate ‘s of ‘sustainability ie. ‘wind power’, when I tell them hell no I dont want that crap and I don’t believe in global warming, they look at me like I am insulting the environment then leave.

  17. rw says:

… but Katherine Hayhoe is so darned nice

Which is enough to make a cynic out of anyone. In fact, it starts me thinking along the lines of niceness as a sociobiological strategy, which in some ways it may well be.

This also brings to mind a similar description in Elizabeth Loftus’ book on the recovered memory hysteria that has stayed with me. Loftus had an encounter with one of the prominent perpetrators of the recovered memory delusion, and found the woman to be charming and vivacious.

Which all goes to show that the nicest people in the world can still be FOS. (In fact, the cynic in me wonders if there’s a correlation. That would be an interesting sociobiological finding.)

Wow “Hoe”, man (Ya gotta blame it on someone?) has Global Warming made more than a slight “dent” in your face ?

Recommendation though, when riding in Big Rigs, “don’t” put your “face” up against the Windshield because if the driver has to “hit” the “brakes”, after you bounce off of it, it tends to “flatten” it, your face I mean !!

Again, Big Rig Windshields are “bad” for the face !!!

    Besides that, you look great…

Oh and, keep up the great work !
