Climate Change Fraud Makes Teenagers Despondent

Climate alarmists like Al Gore, Bill Nye and Bloomberg lie to children about climate, tell them they have no future, make them despondent – and then blame increased suicide rates on imaginary climate change.

I’m glad someone brought this up. Liberals, in the their usual corrupt fearmongering fashion, have been scaring kids for years now, making them believe the world is coming to an end, and capitalism is rigged against them. Then, you wonder why they’re killing themselves and taking drugs, and turning into enraged mental cases who are covered with tattoos and have metal stuck all over their bodies. Liberalism destroys everything, and makes people hopeless and suicidal. Young people now are all on psychoactive medication, and they’re overweight and lethargic. Look at the difference between this generation and mine back in the 1980s under Reagan. Back then, kids were mostly optimistic yuppies who were all sure they were going to have a great life.

Leftists, not liberals. Thomas Jefferson was a liberal, and so am I.

      • arn says:

The term liberal has changed its original meaning in the perception of average joe the same way as the term gay did

        • Gator says:

It was changed by leftists, and I refuse to utilize and support their warped Newspeak.

          • Colorado Wellington says:

That’s misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic and racist.

            And reactionary.

          • arn says:

            Yes – it was.
But in 99% of discussions people will neither mention this nor are interessted in explanations.
(btw- i’m not really interessted in politics nor have i a special direction or care to promote what i think but i guess i share many values
with classic liberals but about >5% of modern ones)
The left highjacked this term because the socialists in France used ‘liberte’ with success + to pretend that they share values with this group and include them(without asking)

Do you know the original meaning of the world Rock’n’Roll.
It had nothing to do with music :)

            @coloradyou forgot bigot and hitler.
(seems you are a nazi :)

          • Gator says:

Rock’n’Roll referred to a baking stone and the product it produced.

          • Colorado Wellington says:

… you forgot bigot and hitler.
(seems you are a nazi :)

I am also greedy and I didn’t want to share with Gator.

      • Squidly says:

        Absolutely Gator!

I am tired of people referring to the “progressives” (aka; Socialists) of the left as “liberals” .. progressives are the opposite of “liberal” .. they are in fact fascists!

      • AZ1971 says:

Leftists, not liberals. Thomas Jefferson was a liberal, and so am I.

Same thing with progressives. Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive, albeit a BullMoose progressive. The same connotation cannot be extended to today’s fascists calling themselves ‘progressive’.

I’ve long thought we need to dig up, reanimate, and clone Teddy, Ronald Reagan, McCarthy, and John Wayne to offset today’s pussified weak-minded, weak backboned know-nothings.

You know …. Make America Great Again.

      • Mac says:

The term “liberal” to describe these idiotic monkeys was good enough for Ronald Reagan. It’s good enough for me. I don’t agree that Thomas Jefferson was a liberal. He was a slave-owning capitalist land baron. I think you’re using that term with a very broad definition. Just because he was more liberal than George III doesn’t mean Jefferson was liberal, as we know the term these days.

        • Gator says:

Reagan used the word “liberal” incorrectly, that is a fact. Someone who is liberal believes in liberty, and leftists do not believe in liberty.

Jefferson was a man of his times, and kept slaves like any other respectable colonist. Revisionist morality is a nonstarter for me.

Jefferson freed two slaves of the extended Hemings family in the 18th century. He allowed two of Sally’s children to leave Monticello without formal manumission when they came of age; five other slaves, including the two remaining sons of Sally, were freed by his will upon his death.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Jefferson_and_slavery

Without Jefferson, there is no Declaration of Independence or Constitution as we know and love them. Study harder.

          • Mac says:

Your definition of “liberal”, as the term has been used for over a century, is not consistent with your stubborn and incorrect usage. What you mean is “libertarian”, not liberal. I’d agree that Jefferson was a libertarian, not a liberal. So, go crack the books yourself. You can use the term “liberal thinker” to describe anyone, but that doesn’t translate to liberal political views. Try “libertarian” from now on. It’s correct. Someone who believes in liberty is a libertarian. Reagan did NOT use the term “liberal” incorrectly. You’re just splitting hairs and hanging onto an argument just for the sake of arguing, I think.

Here it is, straight from Merriam-Webster: “‘Liberal’ shares a root with ‘liberty’ and can mean anything from “generous” to “loose” to “broad-minded.” Politically, it means “a person who believes that government should be active in supporting social and political change.”

Got it now? “Liberal” means social justice and change, directed by the government. It has nothing to do with what you mean by “liberty”. Liberty is actually anathema to liberalism.

          • Gator says:

Mac, my old Webster’s does not define “liberal” as anything political, that is Newspeak.

Do leftists believe in, and support individual liberties? No. Therefore they are not “liberals”, no matter how hard they stamp their little feet, and no matter how many times they change the definition of words over time. Truth does not care about revisionism.

Mac, I am a libertarian and have studied Jefferson for decades now, so it is not me who needs to do more research.

Ever hear of the “Fabian Society”? Do you know anything about their coat of arms? Or how they changed language to fool fools?

Once again, do leftists believe in and support individual liberties?

            Got it now?

Definitions of “liberal” as per Websters 1828 dictionary:
            http://webstersdictionary1828.com/Dictionary/liberal

        • RAH says:

          Mac
Basically all the founders were liberals in their time. And slavery was also the norm at the time. You need to judge history and historical figures based on the Morals and Mores of THEIR times. Otherwise you may find that your a descendent of a long line of what today would be considered racists, pedophiles, Misogynistic, Xenophobic, homophobes.

History, real history, is just not understanding events and those critical involved in those events. It is about trying to get in the minds and understand what people thought at the time and why.

Tell me. Why during our civil war, did men on both sides repeatedly step over the dead, dying, and maimed of the rank before them that had taken a volley and keep advancing when they had to know the odds were that they would most likely meet the same fate?

What was different about those American soldiers on both sides then from American soldiers today?

          • Mac says:

You guys are both extremely wrong. However, please do continue to misuse the political term “liberal” all you want. Means nothing to me. Believe whatever you want, if it makes you happy.

Our founding fathers had absolutely nothing in common with what is accepted as the accurate definition of liberalism. There is no such thing as a conservative or libertarian “liberal”, which is what both of you are laughably claiming.

          • Gator says:

You still don’t get it. This really isn’t an argument, it really is simply a misunderstanding.

          • RAH says:

            Mac
The founders broke the bonds of what had been the status quo of their time to form a unique government. A government that granted the maximum power and rights to the people while at the same time having mechanisms to prevent the tyranny of the majority and other problems noted in various democrat states and Republics of the ancient past. They were anything but conservative.

In 2008, we had a meeting at our condo with a guest speaker (a so called climate expert) giving the usual drivel that we were all doomed. I stood up and pointed out that stations in Iowa had not broken a July high temperature record since 1955. Thus how bad could it be? I was shouted down with “Iowa is not the world”.

I was sitting next to 2 teenage girls who were saying that the might as well jump off the roof. I hope they didn’t because it’s ten years later now and nothing has changed.

    • GeologyJim says:

The most damaging campaign of the Left has been the persistent demagoguery to redefine sexuality as a morphable “social construct”

When media, academia, Hollywood, and the political Left tell kids again and again that it’s perfectly OK (or even laudable) to ignore what’s between your legs – or worse yet, to contemplate surgical reconfiguration of same – – it’s no wonder the consequences are pathological, self-destructive, and culturally infective.

The Left might be able to convince some psychologically weak individuals that they can re-imagine their sexuality, but the individual cannot suppress nature’s hormonal endowment.

Finally found a blog I won’t be laughed off by lefties. Thanks for bringing this up. I grew up during last 15 years of Soviet Union and spend 7 more years in lawlessness that ensued after its collapse before moving to Canada in 98. What’s happening now in the West is scary: I hear almost word for word from the modern Left the same propaganda the Soviets used to brainwash us in schools. The state did everything to separate kids from families, made teens depressed and alienated, drove almost all of my childhood friends to alcoholism and drug use. Thank god my parents were smarter than them and I was raised with good values. I am pretty sad to see history repeat itself in this way. I sincerely hope these destructive leftist ideologies disappear one day, or are driven away by more sensible policies. Canada has become an almost completely socialist country in the last 10 years or so. Hope US doesn’t head that way. Social and societal mechanics of this global warming scam truly remind me of the BS we were fed Soviets growing up. I thought I was done with that. Please don’t get me wrong: I am very happy I live here and I worked honestly and hard to build a life I have now. I’m just sad to see this leftist crap making a comeback.

More “science” from the correlation-is-causation crowd.

Teenagers today spend too much time indoors, which depresses mood. Teenagers today do not have the solid social skills and friendships we had, which causes lower self worth, which leads to depression and thoughts of suicide. Then of course there is Hollywood glorifying suicide…

But no, once again it is climate change. Because… science!

We spent our days outdoors. Our parents told us to get out of the house and go play. We rode our bikes around town, we played ball at the baseball diamond, we romped through the woods, we explored abandoned old buildings, we got suntans naturally and never slathered on any “SPF” anti-sun lotions, and we came back home for supper. We cut the grass, raked the leaves and helped Dad with chores. We didn’t know what “depression” was.

It is ingenious. A voluntary mobile tracking device. Oh, the appeal. You can purchase from online to point-of-sale retail, make sales and receive payment money with them, get directions to where you are going, and yes, a lot of people play games on them.

Some people are now wearing Dick Tracy voluntary tracking devices. And some people have chip implants in their hands. Orwell would be rolling in his grave. It’s all voluntary now. Sort of. For one thing I do, I must have that device with me at all times.

  3. arn says:

Rising (manic) depression and suicide rates are a direct cause of leftist politics
by people like gore and nye.
Destruction of families is the main cornerstone,
push daddies out of home and promote antiauthoritarian education so that
the children search “daddies” on the streets and find authority on tv.
+they get exposed to too much violence and sexualisation they are not supposed to see at such a young age.(watch the awkward Gender-Dance Bill Nye showed in his show,
or just watch “Little Babies Ice Cream Spot”.
This is pushing fear into people as they do with grown ups making them fear so much being called bigott ,racist nazis that they don”t even dare to oppose organised child rape by muslims(as this has already happened many times in Britain and is hidden behind the word grooming by politicians and media)

Climate Change has 0% to do with this as there are different climates all over the world and the suicide rate should differ enourmously depending on average temperature .
+ children have just a small range of time-experience considering climate that they would not even realise a change.

  4. Josh says:

Shouldn’t the kids ask their grandparents why seniors are far less likely to believe in AGW when the alarmists portray how the weather has become catastrophically worse in the past 50 years? It is ironic how kids who grew up during the 1999-2014 pause believe AGW more than the elderly who have seen a so called meteoric rise in global temperature. Shows how repeating crap makes people start to believe the nonsense.

    • Gator says:

The older generation was taught that the climate is cyclical, and the young numpties have been told it is their own bad breath.

    any comments?

“The Nimbus 4 Satellite was launched by NASA in 1970 so every NASA scientist should have been aware of this limitation in effect from increases in CO2 demonstrated by the spectral notch in the Earth’s thermal radiation spectrum, so it can only be considered an act of scientific fraud for NASA Scientists to proclaim in Hansen et al 1981 that their models predicted 2°C to 3.5°C of warming from a doubling of CO2 when empirical measurements made a decade earlier demonstrated that this was physically impossible!”

Climate change has caused funding for climate change related studies to skyrocket. If we don’t have more studies as to why all this is happening, then the cost of climate change studies will spiral out of control. If we do have more studies as to why all of this is happening, then the cost of climate change studies will spiral out of control. And it is all man’s (or Mann’s) fault.

Baby survives parents’ global warming suicide pact
    01 Mar 2010

A seven-month-old girl survived for three days alone with a bullet in her chest after being shot by her parents as part of a suicide pact over their fears about global warming.

Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Coletti, 23, shot their daughter and her toddler brother before killing themselves.

Their son Francisco, two, died instantly after being hit in the back.
However, their unnamed daughter cheated death after the bullet from her father’s handgun missed her vital organs.

Police were alerted by worried neighbours who discovered the massacre three days after the shooting and the girl was taken to hospital.

The youngster is recovering in hospital in the town of Goya in the northern Argentine province of Corrientes, where doctors say she is out of danger.

Her parents said they feared the effects of global warming in a suicide note discovered by police.
