    No ice-free Arctic this year.

But just imagine if we had an ice-free Arctic…we could point and laugh at the Russians for building that mega-nuclear ice-breaker!

Well, we can still point and laugh, just not at the Russians.

Hey, Griff said she’d be back to gloat in September – and let me know when the Arctic would be ice-free and how much CO2 it will take to melt the ice. I’ll be waiting.

Less Ice cover will trigger more ice loss.
The sun will heathen the water.
    Hypothetical and proven wrong!

It is quite amazing to see which “climate” stories the MSM decides to cover. Do you all recall the “record” heat wave Australia was experiencing back in Jan/Feb? I pointed out back then that the Wash Post cited a weather station that was 50km outside Sydney for its temperature source.

Soooo, how many of you have been reading about Sydney’s record cold this July? My sister is visiting from Australia and told me about the 35F morning they recently had. Here is a story that was buried by the MSM from mid-July: https://www.smh.com.au/environment/weather/no-early-let-up-for-sydney-s-overnight-shivers-as-cold-records-tumble-20180715-p4zrkw.html

Thanks Tony! I love your new post!!!

Australia has been warm this July like Europe. South America. Siberia, Canadian Archipelago, Greenland are the heroes of the month!
You know these area are cold not just for a few days but for a a few weeks when the MSM will not say a peep about these areas. MSM views these areas as threats to AGW unlike Australia where MSM can point out it was still warm overall for July.

Still cool at night, but the days have been ab fab !! :-)

    Time to move the goalposts.

This is what happens when you elect Donald Trump. The artic is freezing cold in the summer, and it’s all his fault! Global cooling! It’s going to kill us all, and Donald Trump doesn’t care!

If anyone one has there reservations about the data Tony is reporting, there is actually a group trying to sail to the North Pole this year. They report in daily. Somewhere near 73 degrees latitude off the coast of Alaska. It has been snowing and cold, just as Tony reports:

Use google translate to go from French to English.

*We spent the day in our duvets: reading, failure, coffee, chocolate … And outside it’s wind, snow and big drift.

*The snow has fallen almost all day, it is beautiful and much colder than the rain.
