Ice-Free Arctic In Thirteen Years

Experts say the Arctic will be ice-free in thirteen years and the US is falling behind Russia in Arctic shipping.

Arctic summers could be ice-free by 2035, enabling faster shipping

This comes three months after dozens of Russian ships got trapped in Arctic ice.

At the current rate of decline, it will require about 500 years for the Arctic to become ice-free.
