The Washington Post propagates huge amounts of climate misinformation, under the guise of fighting it.

The robots will defame you now.

Tony, do you remember the kook named ‘HopeforpeaceNow’? She’s been hanging out at Cfact for the last several years. She is as you called her a “whack job”. Funny to watch.

Using “AI” to detect climate misinformation is like letting Biden run a country.

If there is one thing more compromised and useless than climate models it is AI – as all AI is woke as I predicted some time ago and was recently proven by google.
There is no AI or climate model from the Unicorporations&lackeys that goes against a woke narrative.
They won’t tell you the simplest things as soon the results are politically incorrect.

Which group commit the most racist crimes, kill the most trannies or commit the most terror attacks(and it will never be allowed to do so) – so how can any AI do more complex tasks properly?
And on those rare occasion the AI comes up with correct results – they will fix it out of existence.

And why do you need an AI to find out that climate scientists and solutions are the main targets that are under attack?

Of course the originator of a lie is the 1st target of attack/criticism,
and the second target will be his agenda/goal which is here called solution,
especially when it wants to complete transform an existing system based on the lie
    without legitimacy.

We will find the same pattern with wars, trans agenda, covid etc.
First the liar is targeted, then the crime(disguised as necessity ) he wants to commit.

I have to stand up for Hayhoe, who said that 70 to 90 percent of the snow on the ground would be gone by whenever. I’m pretty sure that art least 90% of the snow on the ground at the moment she said that has melted by now. She has graduated from religious fanaticism to climate fanaticism. I wonder if it had something to do with her last name, being that she went to school at Tech, which is cow country.
I just had an AI event yesterday, when I got upset with all of these stupid posts on Facebook, that I’m seeing now. For example, a photo of a man scuba diving in a crevice in Iceland and the caption being, “This is the EXACT place where the North American continental tectonic plate ALMOST meets the Eurasian one. It is thought to be the ONLY place on Earth where one can touch two continents at the same time.” I said it was the exact place, just like February was the hottest event ever on Earth. Boy, did the AI spin trying to decide if I could say that or not.
There was another one where people are descending into a cave that is as deep as Everest is tall, and the caption said, “This is the CLOSEST place to the center of the Earth.” I think that maybe the closest place to the center of Earth is the center of Earth, or if you really want to be critical you could say the limit as ?x goes to 0 from the center of Earth.
Anyway, a lot of very stupid things being said on Facebook and all the useful idiots accept them without critical examination. But if you mention something about climate, the AI robots will swarm all over it. AI is now everywhere and from what I’ve seen they are the same ol’ search engines with the same ol’ programming.

      Of course they are.

The sudden rise of AI seems as coincidental as the sudden rise of fake vaccines.

All of a sudden several different corporation had the exact same plan to deviate from antibody immune therapy towards mrna.
They also had all reached a breakthrough in cutting down testing periods from 15 years to to15 weeks and all were able to instantly produce on a global scale and pretending that their non vaccine is a vaccine (to avoid accountability ) and get away with it.

And now everyone is AI at the same time.
And all the hype started literally when Nvidia Huang declared Moores law dead.
The breakthrough happened in the very last moment.

Was there some enlightenment that struck all the coders at the same time?
Or is there some Astroturf going on to preprogram people towards a scenario that will soon unfold .
Considering the debt of your country is now increasing by 1 trillion every 3 month you are running out of road to kick the can down – a rogue AI may be an excuse for everything .

I’m waiting for the open source, traveling companion, bodyguard, and attack robot that can protect home, self, and destroy idiots that try to mess with me. I’m thinking of something that looks like the Monitor with two semiautomatic 12 gauges poking out the top and can roll alone with you when you go for a walk, or when unwelcomed guests appear on your porch.

        • arn says:

Your expectations are so modest and humble my cynical friend.

But i wouldn’t even trust an open source AI to not be woke.
In this case I’d be its first target. As the future old saying says “Never trust an AI that hasn’t been compromised by yourself ” .

But in case your robot friend works well I’d rent it for a month or two , to sent it to some billionaires to make them finally pay their fair share of blood.
Then to the lobbiests and finally to those politicians who miraculously increased their income by more than 200 % during their political career.
There may be some significant shortage of psychopaths in DC for some years , but I think we should take the risk.

  5. Amplified Ignorance has no underpinning mathematical formulation, equivalent to the eigenvalue decomposition used in servomechanism theory by which stability or tracking accuracy may be determined, together with sensitivity due to variation in plant away from the nominal, and response to noisy signals. It is a mix of code hacking and blind faith, boiling down to little more than correlation over a large number of parameters.

I suspect Arthur C Clarke was prescient in portraying the consequences of programming a computer with lies in his 2001 a Space Odyssey.

  6. John Nebilak says:

That headline is a perfect example of how AI = GIGO. But the people developing the so called AI want you to believe that since it is AI it cannot be wrong.
