In February of 1972 earth-orbiting artificial satellites revealed the existence of a greatly increased area of the snow and ice cover of the north polar cap as compared to all previous years of space age observations. Some scientists believe that this may have presaged the onset of the dramatic climate anomalies of 1972 that brought far-reaching adversities to the world’s peoples. There are strong signs that these recent climate disasters were not random deviations from the usual weather, but instead signals of the emergence of a new normal for world climates.
If we are, indeed, experiencing a worsening of world climates it is, perhaps, equal in severity to any within the last millenium. The arguments for this view were developed by several of the climatologists who attended an international workshop on climate and its effects on human life convened in May 1974 in Bonn, Germany.
At this meeting Profs. H. Flohn of Germany, H.H. Lamb of the United Kingdom and Reid Bryson of the United States developed a highly persuasive demonstration that there has been a steady cooling of northern hemisphere temperatures during the last 30 years, with the strongest cooling at the higher latitudes.

The Pentagon
At 9:37 am on 9/11, 51 minutes after the first plane hit the World Trade Center, the Pentagon was similarly attacked. Though dozens of witnesses saw a Boeing 757 hit the building, conspiracy advocates insist there is evidence that a missile or a different type of plane smashed into the Pentagon.
Big Plane, Small Holes
Claim: Two holes were visible in the Pentagon immediately after the attack: a 75-ft.-wide entry hole in the building’s exterior wall, and a 16-ft.-wide hole in Ring C, the Pentagon’s middle ring. Conspiracy theorists claim both holes are far too small to have been made by a Boeing 757. “How does a plane 125 ft. wide and 155 ft. long fit into a hole which is only 16 ft. across?” asks reopen911.org, a Web site “dedicated to discovering the bottom line truth to what really occurred on September 11, 2001.”The truth is of even less importance to French author Thierry Meyssan, whose baseless assertions are fodder for even mainstream European and Middle Eastern media. In his book The Big Lie, Meyssan concludes that the Pentagon was struck by a satellite-guided missile—part of an elaborate U.S. military coup. “This attack,” he writes, “could only be committed by United States military personnel against other U.S. military personnel.”

FACT: When American Airlines Flight 77 hit the Pentagon’s exterior wall, Ring E, it created a hole approximately 75 ft. wide, according to the ASCE Pentagon Building Performance Report. The exterior facade collapsed about 20 minutes after impact, but ASCE based its measurements of the original hole on the number of first-floor support columns that were destroyed or damaged. Computer simulations confirmed the findings.
Why wasn’t the hole as wide as a 757’s 124-ft.-10-in. wingspan? A crashing jet doesn’t punch a cartoon-like outline of itself into a reinforced concrete building, says ASCE team member Mete Sozen, a professor of structural engineering at Purdue University. In this case, one wing hit the ground; the other was sheared off by the force of the impact with the Pentagon’s load-bearing columns, explains Sozen, who specializes in the behavior of concrete buildings. What was left of the plane flowed into the structure in a state closer to a liquid than a solid mass. “If you expected the entire wing to cut into the building,” Sozen tells PM, “it didn’t happen.”
The tidy hole in Ring C was 12 ft. wide—not 16 ft. ASCE concludes it was made by the jet’s landing gear, not by the fuselage.
Intact Windows
Claim: Many Pentagon windows remained in one piece—even those just above the point of impact from the Boeing 757 passenger plane. Pentagonstrike.co.uk, an online animation widely circulated in the United States and Europe, claims that photographs showing “intact windows” directly above the crash site prove “a missile” or “a craft much smaller than a 757” struck the Pentagon.
FACT: Some windows near the impact area did indeed survive the crash. But that’s what the windows were supposed to do—they’re blast-resistant.
“A blast-resistant window must be designed to resist a force significantly higher than a hurricane that’s hitting instantaneously,” says Ken Hays, executive vice president of Masonry Arts, the Bessemer, Ala., company that designed, manufactured and installed the Pentagon windows. Some were knocked out of the walls by the crash and the outer ring’s later collapse. “They were not designed to receive wracking seismic force,” Hays notes. “They were designed to take in inward pressure from a blast event, which apparently they did: [Before the collapse] the blinds were still stacked neatly behind the window glass.”

The White Jet
Claim: At least six eyewitnesses say they saw a small white jet flying low over the crash area almost immediately after Flight 93 went down. BlogD.com theorizes that the aircraft was downed by “either a missile fired from an Air Force jet, or via an electronic assault made by a U.S. Customs airplane reported to have been seen near the site minutes after Flight 93 crashed.” WorldNetDaily.com weighs in: “Witnesses to this low-flying jet … told their story to journalists. Shortly thereafter, the FBI began to attack the witnesses with perhaps the most inane disinformation ever—alleging the witnesses actually observed a private jet at 34,000 ft. The FBI says the jet was asked to come down to 5000 ft. and try to find the crash site. This would require about 20 minutes to descend.”
FACT: There was such a jet in the vicinity—a Dassault Falcon 20 business jet owned by the VF Corp. of Greensboro, N.C., an apparel company that markets Wrangler jeans and other brands. The VF plane was flying into Johnstown-Cambria airport, 20 miles north of Shanksville. According to David Newell, VF’s director of aviation and travel, the FAA’s Cleveland Center contacted copilot Yates Gladwell when the Falcon was at an altitude “in the neighborhood of 3000 to 4000 ft.”—not 34,000 ft. “They were in a descent already going into Johnstown,” Newell adds. “The FAA asked them to investigate and they did. They got down within 1500 ft. of the ground when they circled. They saw a hole in the ground with smoke coming out of it. They pinpointed the location and then continued on.” Reached by PM, Gladwell confirmed this account but, concerned about ongoing harassment by conspiracy theorists, asked not to be quoted directly.
Roving Engine
Claim: One of Flight 93’s engines was found “at a considerable distance from the crash site,” according to Lyle Szupinka, a state police officer on the scene who was quoted in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Offering no evidence, a posting on Rense.com claimed: “The main body of the engine … was found miles away from the main wreckage site with damage comparable to that which a heat-seeking missile would do to an airliner.”
FACT: Experts on the scene tell PM that a fan from one of the engines was recovered in a catchment basin, downhill from the crash site. Jeff Reinbold, the National Park Service representative responsible for the Flight 93 National Memorial, confirms the direction and distance from the crash site to the basin: just over 300 yards south, which means the fan landed in the direction the jet was traveling. “It’s not unusual for an engine to move or tumble across the ground,” says Michael K. Hynes, an airline accident expert who investigated the crash of TWA Flight 800 out of New York City in 1996. “When you have very high velocities, 500 mph or more,” Hynes says, “you are talking about 700 to 800 ft. per second. For something to hit the ground with that kind of energy, it would only take a few seconds to bounce up and travel 300 yards.” Numerous crash analysts contacted by PM concur.
Indian Lake
Claim: “Residents and workers at businesses outside Shanksville, Somerset County, reported discovering clothing, books, papers and what appeared to be human remains,” states a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article dated Sept. 13, 2001. “Others reported what appeared to be crash debris floating in Indian Lake, nearly 6 miles from the immediate crash scene.” Commenting on reports that Indian Lake residents collected debris, Think AndAsk.com speculates: “On Sept. 10, 2001, a strong cold front pushed through the area, and behind it—winds blew northerly. Since Flight 93 crashed west-southwest of Indian Lake, it was impossible for debris to fly perpendicular to wind direction. … The FBI lied.” And the significance of widespread debris? Theorists claim the plane was breaking up before it crashed. TheForbiddenKnowledge.com states bluntly: “Without a doubt, Flight 93 was shot down.”
FACT: Wallace Miller, Somerset County coroner, tells PM no body parts were found in Indian Lake. Human remains were confined to a 70-acre area directly surrounding the crash site. Paper and tiny scraps of sheetmetal, however, did land in the lake. “Very light debris will fly into the air, because of the concussion,” says former National Transportation Safety Board investigator Matthew McCormick. Indian Lake is less than 1.5 miles southeast of the impact crater—not 6 miles—easily within range of debris blasted skyward by the heat of the explosion from the crash. And the wind that day was northwesterly, at 9 to 12 mph, which means it was blowing from the northwest—toward Indian Lake.
F-16 Pilot
Claim: In February 2004, retired Army Col. Donn de Grand-Pre said on “The Alex Jones Show,” a radio talk show broadcast on 42 stations: “It [Flight 93] was taken out by the North Dakota Air Guard. I know the pilot who fired those two missiles to take down 93.” LetsRoll911.org, citing de Grand-Pre, identifies the pilot: “Major Rick Gibney fired two Sidewinder missiles at the aircraft and destroyed it in midflight at precisely 0958.”
FACT: Saying he was reluctant to fuel debate by responding to unsubstantiated charges, Gibney (a lieutenant colonel, not a major) declined to comment. According to Air National Guard spokesman Master Sgt. David Somdahl, Gibney flew an F-16 that morning–but nowhere near Shanksville. He took off from Fargo, N.D., and flew to Bozeman, Mont., to pick up Ed Jacoby Jr., the director of the New York State Emergency Management Office. Gibney then flew Jacoby from Montana to Albany, N.Y., so Jacoby could coordinate 17,000 rescue workers engaged in the state’s response to 9/11. Jacoby confirms the day’s events. “I was in Big Sky for an emergency managers meeting. Someone called to say an F-16 was landing in Bozeman. From there we flew to Albany.” Jacoby is outraged by the claim that Gibney shot down Flight 93. “I summarily dismiss that because Lt. Col. Gibney was with me at that time. It disgusts me to see this because the public is being misled. More than anything else it disgusts me because it brings up fears. It brings up hopes—it brings up all sorts of feelings, not only to the victims’ families but to all the individuals throughout the country, and the world for that matter. I get angry at the misinformation out there.”

This post mostly concerns the excellent exposé of the 1970’s global cooling scare. But two rather large topics are brushed over at the beginning, concerning the moon landing & 9/11. As soon as Steven Goddard steps outside the AGW topic: funny how he’s no longer Galileo and becomes part of Team Consensus™, complete with appeals to authority, straw men, and insults.
Different shadow lengths is probably a weaker point in favour of the moon-hoax hypothesis. I suspect Steve would rather bypass some of the stronger points, such as the “laminated photo on the surface of the moon“, or “two ton craft stops dead, with no inertia“. With regard to 9/11: the twin towers had an unconventional top-down explosive demolition, so their collapse appears, at least superficially, to comply with Popular Mechanics magazine’s “pancake collapse theory” since it doesn’t look like a normal controlled demolition. The explosions in the bottom of the towers were not what brought them down. To portray that as common 9/11 claim is to build what is known as a “straw man”. As I have stated elsewhere I do not have the engineering background to evaluate the situation with the towers.
All I can do is see that:
(1) Certain elements in out government used “Never let a crisis go to waste” to crush a lot more of our liberties to the point I do not recognize this country any more. In 2001 I never dreamed this country could go to hell so fast.
(2) The government certainly does not take the ‘Terrorist’ or ‘Muslim” threat at all seriously but instead targets ‘Homegrown Terrorists’ like Ron Paul, Ben Carson and three year old little girls in wheel chairs.
A useful crisis or an orchestrated crisis? Who knows? But because of #2, I would lean towards an orchestrated crisis. Why? Because there are certainly close connections between the Saudi Royal house and Osama bin Laden link and the Saudi Royal house and the Rockefellers (ARAMCO). And the Saudis, Maurice Strong and the Rockefellers.

Gail, it does “add up” to me. The government is not one unified entity. There are plenty of bad guys competing at the trough and the levers of power but they don’t march in single file. Stalin and Hitler were allies and waged wars on each other in just a few years.
This has been my feeling from the start. Would our government do something like this? Yes. Does that mean they did this particular attack? No. It doesn’t mean they didn’t, either.
What they didn’t do is rig 2 buildings with enormous amounts of explosives, and a trigger system allowing them to start the demolition at whichever floor the plane ends up hitting, two hours after it hit. To bring down a building from the base, it takes enough explosives to weaken the structure on a single floor. There’s no way to anticipate specifically which floors the plane would hit, so they would have had to rig several dozen floors, requiring far more explosives, and far more time to plant them. To do this without disrupting business, in two heavily populated buildings, would be a monumental achievement. It would require thousands of pounds of explosives, and probably many weeks of setup. You can’t just wheel in a trash can full of TNT, and push it up against a column. It takes either precisely placed shaped charges, or truly massive amounts of explosives. The former would require substantial demolition just to place the charges, and the latter would have been too obvious to deny. There simply wasn’t an explosion of that magnitude immediately preceding either collapse. I also find it unlikely that anyone evil enough to do this would wait for almost everyone to get out, before setting off the explosives. Even more, that delay left too much room for failure. A 200,000 pound aircraft hitting a building at 400 MPH could easily knock pre-rigged explosives out of place, and the fire would have been too likely to set them off at random. And if the buildings hadn’t fallen, they would have had to find a way to cover up all those explosives. The only plan with a reasonable chance for success would have been to set off the charges as the planes hit, which clearly didn’t happen. It also would have been pointlessly redundant.
I don’t claim that they weren’t controlled demolitions. I only claim that it would have been extraordinarily hard to do set up that type of demolition, and the same result could have been accomplished with far less effort, and far less randomness. If the united states government wants to destroy two skyscrapers with commercial aircraft, it clearly has the means to do it. Loading the planes with magnesium dust and potassium nitrate, for instance, would all but guarantee a structural collapse. There’s really no need to set up a Rube Goldberg system of explosives.
There were clearly things covered up. Most obvious was the Saudi involvement. But there are political realities at play here. The Saudi government is just too tight with our own government, and the Bushes in particular, to be blamed. Whether or not they actually did it is irrelevant. And perhaps more importantly, the Saudis simply control too much oil, and too many American bonds. As the saying goes, follow the money.
In my opinion, regardless of who was pulling the strings, the plan was to take down the buildings with the planes, not with pre-rigged explosives. My gut feeling is that the Bush administration was involved in covering up the Saudi connection, but probably knew nothing ahead of the attack. Other agencies may have known more than they let on, and possibly in advance. But I’ve seen no evidence for that. (I can’t say I’ve looked all that hard, though)
I also think the promotion of conspiracy theories is part of the goal. When everyone is suspicious of everything, those who get to define reality can say whatever they want. Hence, 18 years of stable temperatures is reported as unprecedented warming. And if you don’t believe that, you’re just a conspiracy nut. Most people don’t have the mental or emotional energy to argue forever. Eventually, they just believe whatever they’re told.

Was there knowledge and help from those who wanted to bring the US down? Quite possibly. As I said above Maurice Strong, Rockefeller and the various high level Saudis knew each other and I doubt any of them had any love for or loyalty to the USA. The Saudis also were not exactly buddy buddy with Iraq and Iran who eventually became US targets. The only real question is was it a purely Muslim attack or were there other fingers in the pie? Unfortunately the answer to that we will never know.

It is found that, although the addition of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere does increase the surface temperature, the rate of temperature increase diminishes with increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. For aerosols, however, the net effect of increase in density is to reduce the surface temperature of Earth. Becuase of the exponential dependence of the backscattering, the rate of temperature decrease is augmented with increasing aerosol content. An increase by only a factor of 4 in global aerosol background concentration may be sufficient to reduce the surface temperature by as much as 3.5 deg.K. If sustained over a period of several years, such a temperature decrease over the whole globe is believed to be sufficient to trigger an ice age.
The rate at which human activities may be inadvertently modifying the climate of Earth has become a problem of serious concern 1 . In the last few decades the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere appears to have increased by 7 percent 2 . During the same period, the aerosol content of the lower atmosphere may have been augmented by as much as 100 percent 3 .
How have these changes in the composition of the atmosphere affected the climate of the globe? More importantly, is it possible that a continued increase in the CO2 and dust content of the atmosphere at the present rate will produce such large-scale effects on the global temperature that the process may run away, with the planet Earth eventually becoming as hot as Venus (700 deg. K.) or as cold as Mars (230 deg. K.)?
We report here on the first results of a calculation in which separate estimates were made of the effects on global temperature of large increases in the amount of CO2 and dust in the atmosphere. It is found that even an increase by a factor of 8 in the amount of CO2, which is highly unlikely in the next several thousand years, will produce an increase in the surface temperature of less than 2 deg. K.
However, the effect on surface temperature of an increase in the aerosol content of the atmosphere is found to be quite significant. This was the basis for Tony Rooke’s court case I linked above. He argued that it would be illegal under Brit law for him to pay his govt mandated BBC licence fee, as he would be funding this terrorist complicit BBC organisation. He won his day in court.

With the lack of even the smallest amount of hard evidence supporting their stories, conspiracy theorists have become more desperate to find anything which could be twisted to support them. Case in point: The WTC 7 was seen in the background of a BBC report while the reporter said the building had already collapsed. The story is that the reporters were given a “script” to say and these reporters stupidly read the lines before the building fell. Plain old common sense can dispatch this conspiracy story.

Why do they choose to believe the more unlikely conspiracy story which suggests that at least some reporters of some news organizations were given a script? Especially when, much more logically, miscommunication could easily explain the video.
Why in the WORLD would they need to give the reporters a head’s up??? Why wouldn’t they just blow the building up and let them report the collapse as they would have normally?
What most likely, logically happened: While investigating and updating information on the collapse of the towers, someone at the BBC was given a report/press release that building 7 was going to collapse. [Edit: we now know they were monitoring the news from different outlets and that’s where they learned of building 7.] According to the fire department, by 2:00PM they knew the building would soon collapse. Reporters KNEW this well before the collapse because there are videos of reporters talking about it before it happened. So we KNOW reporters were given information on WTC 7’s imminent demise. We can conclude from this evidence that the fire department relayed information to reporters that the building was going to collapse. By the time the report reached the reporter at the BBC, it may have simply been miscommunicated from “About to collapse” to “Has collapsed”. She even starts out by saying “Details are very, very sketchy”. That alone should put this to rest. She didn’t say ‘Sketchy’. She didn’t say ‘very sketchy’. She said “very, very sketchy”.
It wouldn’t be the first time reporters got something so completely wrong. They said it was a small plane at first, remember? They said Kerry choose Gephardt for VP, remember? They told the family members of trapped mine workers that their 13 loved ones were alive, all but one, when it was the other way around. Those are just a few glaring examples. I could go on… Reporters rush to be the first one with the news and often do a poor job of getting the facts straight. History is littered with examples of this. Even your average knuckle dragging, cave dwelling Neanderthal knows this. (My sincerest apologies Geico’s Neanderthal man…)

I have had on this site since I started it (just under the 12 things we know for sure on this very page) the link to a video with someone from MSNBC saying “What we’ve been fearing all afternoon has finally happened.” As the building collapses. That makes CNN, BBC and MSNBC who knew the building was going to collapse. I searched for the MSNBC video because I remembered the media saying the building would collapse before it did. Here is that video again…
How many people knew that building was Building 7 before that day? It is unreasonable and unrealistic to expect every reporter to know the names of all the buildings in the World Trade Center. For all they may have known, building 7 could have been one of the smaller buildings which were also on fire.
The downright absurd conspiracy story: The government told many reporters to report something they would have reported anyway after the building collapsed.
A little critical thinking is all that’s needed to debunk this nonsense. Why in the world would they make an already unbelievably massive conspiracy into one involving reporters who would LOVE a scoop like that? “Sept. 9, 2001 – EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS! Government about to murder thousands for oil! We have the script!” Can you imagine the job offerings after a scoop like that? Can you say Pulitzer prize? What a hero! And here is the kicker… Did they really need even MORE people involved? What was the reason they absolutely needed to tell the reporters this? Why haven’t any of the other reporters talked? Are most reporters part of a mass murder scheme? How much can conspiracy theorists swallow?
At best, this is an attempt to take your minds off the real issue. Why did the media know the WTC 7 was going to collapse if there were just a few small fires? This is another part of the conspiracy story they don’t want you to think about.
Do the conspiracy theorist leaders have one shred of REAL evidence of explosives or anything else which could take down the buildings? Air samples with trace explosive chemicals in it? A memo like the Downing Street memo? A whistleblower who was in on the planning maybe? None of that involves the so called “whisked away steel”. They have nothing. They’re left to scour the internet for the slightest mistake made by anyone on that horrific, chaotic day. They’re left destroying peoples’ lives by suggesting innocent people are involved in mass murders.

Who is Barbara Honegger?
A believer in ESP who earned a master’s degree in parapsychology from the little-known John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, Calif., Honegger claimed, for instance, that a “source” using her voice told her in January 1980 that she would join a future Reagan Administration to defend women’s rights. “I’m not claiming I’m psychic,” she now says. “I don’t know what it is.”
There were instances of erratic public behavior. At her Wizard of Oz news conference, she invited the crowd to join her later that afternoon in front of the White House to read an open letter to the President—then failed to show up, leaving an estimated 50 people waiting for 45 minutes.
Flying to San Diego on the day of President Reagan’s speech there to the Republican Women’s Leadership Forum, Honegger held forth in the restaurant of the Bahia Resort Hotel (“You do, of course, see that my initials are all over this hotel, don’t you?”). “I decided to go public and follow my conscience,” she said between spoonfuls of chocolate mousse. “I had to let the American people know what’s going on. I have the solution, I know the solution. I was there for all of us….”
That night, on ABC’s Nightline, she was pale and squinting. “I get migraines from the bright lights,” she explained off camera as she scratched her nose with a haircomb. “You will let me know when I’m on camera and how many seconds to air time, won’t you?” she demanded repeatedly, until one camera crew member blurted out, “Will someone tell her to shut up!” Her appearance was a fiasco, as Honegger defensively turned away sensible questions by telling guest host Sam Donaldson and viewers to “read my article in the Washington Post.” Said one technician after the show: “Well, she’s sunk her own boat. She’s committed media suicide.” Honegger herself seemed blissfully unaware of any flaw in her performance as she left the taping, barefoot.
The next day, on a plane to San Francisco, she loudly expounded such eccentric views of the Reagan Administration as this one: “Reagan is planning coerced body-part donation. And eventually coerced whole-body donations. That’s what forced pregnancy is. If we can force whole bodies, why not body parts? Why should a fetus have more rights than you or I? The whole issue of the 1980s is: Is your body your own property?” After a sigh, she added: “If they’d just let me get to the top, I can help them. Since Reagan was shot and survived an assassination attempt, unconsciously the American public thinks that he is Superman, and the truth is that he is Kryptonite.”
In San Francisco she attended a party at an apartment decorated with Indian bedspreads and brick-and-board bookshelves and hosted by physicist Saul-Paul Sirag, who read to a rapt audience of parapsychology enthusiasts (including former astronaut Rusty Schweickart) from his recently published work, Physical Constants and Cosmological Constraints. Some of the women at the party, however, confronted Honegger with her poor Night-line performance and questioned whether her comments were the result of “ego.”
The 1960s throwback atmosphere of the gathering seemed perfectly suited to Honegger’s unconventional background. By all accounts an excellent student, she graduated as valedictorian of her Hanford, Calif. high school in 1965 and earned her B.A. in creative writing at Stanford University. She later took graduate courses there, worked as a secretary for one of her professors and rose to brief campus prominence in 1975 when, in an incident prefiguring her later run-in with Reagan, she sued her boss for mistreatment. She settled out of court for $8,000, then wrote a scathing article on the incident that was published in the Stanford newspaper.
Honegger’s energetic career has apparently left no room for romantic interests. “I’ve been in love only once in my life,” she says, “but external beauty was the most important thing to him. He became a plastic surgeon and married a tall blonde.” Her resignation from the Justice Department (shortly before her job was to end, anyway) is not likely to open up her social schedule. Her planned projects, she says, include: consulting for the White House, an investigation into the Shroud of Turin (“the Holy Grail was Christ’s skull”) and a “dream bank” business which, she explains, “will be a complex computer-run operation. You wake up in the morning all groggy, call in your dream on the phone. It’s punched into the computer’s memory banks, and a week later you or your psychiatrist receives the hard copy.” Her biggest project, she claims, will be a tell-all book, tentatively titled Immaculate Deception: Diary of a White House Munchkin.

Sean Boger, interview document, USA Center for Military History. Boger’s vantage point, the Pentagon Heliport control tower, had glass extending round the side of the tower, so he would have had an unobstructed view of the impact point. He comments on normal activities and mentions that he is looking out at the road and noting that traffic has stopped, then says:
“I just see…the nose and wing of an aircraft coming right at us and he didn’t veer. And then you just heard the noise, and then he just smacked into the building, and when it hit the building, I am watching the plane go all the way into the building”. “So once the plane went into the building it exploded, and once it exploded, I hit the floor and just covered up my head. It was like glass shattering and ceiling tile was falling…”
Alan Wallace and Mark Skipper. [These witnesses were working normally, close enough to the plane impact point that they were scorched by the heat, but did not mention a prior explosion.] The meticulous Wallace moved the fire truck out of the way, parking it about 15 feet from the Pentagon. That’s when Wallace got a call from his chief at nearby Fort Myer telling him of the attacks in New York and to be on alert. Minutes later, Wallace and his buddy Mark Skipper looked up and saw the gleam of a silver jetliner. But it was flying too low, maybe less than 25 feet off the ground. And it was heading right at them. “I yelled to Mark, ‘Let’s go!’” He bolted to the right, and a second later felt the searing heat of the blast behind him. He hit the ground and rolled under a parked van as a fire engulfed his fire truck, then blew through the firehouse. Wallace got back to his feet, saw Skipper had escaped, then rushed to the scorched fire truck to see if it would run, but the truck only belched fire. It wouldn’t move. So Wallace switched on the truck’s radio. “Foam 61 to Fort Myer,” he said. “We have had a commercial carrier crash into the west side of the Pentagon at the heliport, Washington Boulevard side. The crew is OK. The airplane was a 757 Boeing or a 320 Airbus.” Although he was still frantic and shaken, Wallace’s report turned out to be painfully accurate.
Frank Probst. [This witness had just walked past the point where the plane would hit. He did not mention a prior explosion or damage to the wall.] A Pentagon renovation worker and retired Army officer, he was inspecting newly installed telecommunications wiring inside the five-story, 6.5-million-square-foot building. The tall, soft-spoken Probst had a 10 a.m. meeting. About 9:25 a.m., he stopped by the renovation workers’ trailer just south of the Pentagon heliport. Someone had a television turned on in the trailer’s break room that showed smoke pouring out of the twin towers in New York. “The Pentagon would make a pretty good target,” someone in the break room commented. The thought stuck with Probst as he picked up his notebook and walked to the North Parking Lot to attend his meeting. Probst took a sidewalk alongside Route 27, which runs near the Pentagon’s western face. Traffic was at a standstill because of a road accident. Then, at about 9:35 a.m., he saw the airliner in the cloudless September sky. American Airlines Flight 77 approached from the west, coming in low over the nearby five-story Navy Annex on a hill overlooking the Pentagon. He has lights off, “wheels up, nose down,” Probst recalled. The plane seemed to be accelerating directly toward him. He froze. “I knew I was dead,” he said later. “The only thing I thought was, ‘Damn, my wife has to go to another funeral, and I’m not going to see my two boys again.’” He dove to his right. He recalls the engine passing on one side of him, about six feet away.
Jack Singleton. “Where the plane came in was really at the construction entrance,” says Jack Singleton, president of Singleton Electric Co. Inc., Gaithersburg MD, the Wedge One electrical subcontractor. “The plane’s left wing actually came in near the ground and the right wing was tilted up in the air. That right wing went directly over our trailer, so if that wing had not tilted up, it would have hit the trailer. My foreman, Mickey Bell, had just walked out of the trailer and was walking toward the construction entrance.”
Mickey Bell. The jet came in from the south and banked left as it entered the building, narrowly missing the Singleton Electric trailer and the on-site foreman, Mickey Bell. Bell had just left the trailer when he heard a loud noise. The next thing he recalled was picking himself off the floor, where he had been thrown by the blast. Bell, who had been less than 100 feet from the initial impact of the plane, was nearly struck by one of the plane’s wings as it sped by him. In shock, he got into his truck, which had been parked in the trailer compound, and sped away.
Mark Bright. Defense Protective Service officers were the first on the scene of the terrorist attack. One, Mark Bright, actually saw the plane hit the building. He had been manning the guard booth at the Mall Entrance to the building. [Is there any way this officer would not have known about an explosion prior to the impact?] “I saw the plane at the Navy Annex area,” he said. “I knew it was going to strike the building because it was very, very low — at the height of the street lights. It knocked a couple down.” The plane would have been seconds from impact — the annex is only a few hundred yards from the Pentagon. He said he heard the plane “power-up” just before it struck the Pentagon. “As soon as it struck the building I just called in an attack, because I knew it couldn’t be accidental,” Bright said. He jumped into his police cruiser and headed to the area.
Omar Campo. “It was a passenger plane. I think an American Airways plane”, Mr Campo said. “I was cutting the grass and it came in screaming over my head. I felt the impact. The whole ground shook and the whole area was full of fire. I could never imagine I would see anything like that here.”
Michael DiPaula, 41, project coordinator Pentagon Renovation Team – He left a meeting in the Pentagon just minutes before the crash, looking for an electrician who didn’t show, in a construction trailer less than 75 feet away. Suddenly, an airplane roared into view, nearly shearing the roof off the trailer before slamming into the E ring. ‘It sounded like a missile,’ DiPaula recalls . . . Buried in debris and covered with airplane fuel, he was briefly listed by authorities as missing, but eventually crawled from the flaming debris and the shroud of black smoke unscathed.
William Yeingst. Just prior to the impact there were three firemen on the helipad at the Pentagon. The president was supposed to land at the helipad two hours after the impact, and so they had just pulled the foam truck out of the firehouse and were standing there when they looked up and saw the plane coming over the Navy Annex building. They turned and ran, and at the point of impact were partially shielded by their fire truck from the flying debris of shrapnel and flames. They were knocked to the ground by the concussion, were able to get up, go over to the fire truck, and initially they were able to get it started to call for help at Fort Myer. And then they had to put out parts of their uniform–their bunker gear was actually on fire, so the first thing they had to do was put out their own fire truck and their fire equipment and they tried to start the truck and move it, but they discovered that it wouldn’t move. They got out and looked, and the whole back of the fire truck had melted.

From the lists above, 136 people saw the plane approach the Pentagon, and
104 directly saw the plane hit the Pentagon.
6 were nearly hit by the plane in front of the Pentagon. Several others were within 100-200 feet of the impact.
26 mentioned that it was an American Airlines jet.
39 others mentioned that it was a large jet/commercial airliner.
2 described a smaller corporate jet. 1 described a “commuter plane” but didn’t mention the size.
7 said it was a Boeing 757.
8 witnesses were pilots. One witness was an Air Traffic Controller and Pentagon tower Chief.
2 witnesses were firefighters working on their truck at the Pentagon heliport.
4 made radio calls to inform emergency services that a plane had hit the Pentagon.
10 said the plane’s flaps and landing gear were not deployed (1 thought landing gear struck a light pole).
16 mentioned seeing the plane hit light poles/trees, or were next to to the poles when it happened. Another 8 mentioned the light poles being knocked down: it’s unknown if they saw them hit.
42 mentioned seeing aircraft debris. 4 mentioned seeing airline seats. 3 mentioned engine parts.
2 mentioned bodies still strapped into seats.
15 mentioned smelling or contacting aviation/jet fuel.
3 had vehicles damaged by light poles or aircraft debris. Several saw other occupied vehicles damaged.
3 took photographs of the aftermath.
Many mentioned false alarm warnings of other incoming planes after the crash. One said “3-4 warnings.”
And of course,
0 saw a military aircraft or missile strike the Pentagon.
0 saw a plane narrowly miss the Pentagon and fly away.

For the USA to have a ‘War on Terrorism’ and allow terrorist organizations to recruit on campus, recruit from prisons and set-up training camps like Islamburg New York while manhandling ‘terrorist’ Grannys in walkers and ‘terrorist’ three year olds in wheel chairs makes no sense unless there is some real power behind what has happened in the last fifteen years or so and everything is not as it seems.
It is clear there are those who crave money, power, and a world government have no problem killing as the millions who died from outlawing DDT shows, as the millions who starved due to the 2008 food crisis shows and as those dying from fuel poverty makes clear. 9/11 was just a bit more dramatic but it certainly achieved the goal of tearing the Constitution to shreds rather rapidly.

They preach “social justice”, “sustainability”, “economic equality”, “mother earth”, and have “Earth Day” events and the like.
