Canadian Government Experts : Climate Changing And Sea Levels Rising

A new nomination for the moron challenge?
There is some serious errors in that Title, they put Gov’t, and Expert in the same sentence.
Funny!
So, if one lives on the coast, they are now subject to coastal storm surges? Wow, when did that happen?
Remember the good ole days when one could build a house on sand and not worry about tidal changes or soil erosion or other “coastal realities”?…….Me neither.
CO2 is a mighty powerful molecule.
If you look carefully among the clouds (and squint just right), you can see the climate monster hiding! He’s among us! Run!
“The glacial isostatic adjustment of Atlantic Canada, following
the retreat of the glaciers that covered the region about 20,000
years ago, is believed to be causing vertical crustal uplift of
about 0.2 m per century in the vicinity of the St. Lawrence
Estuary, and subsidence of a similar magnitude along the
Atlantic coast (Peltier, 2004). After allowing for changes in
the geoid (Peltier, 2004) the combined effect of global sealevel
rise and glacial isostatic adjustment could cause changes
in relative sea level in parts of Atlantic Canada of almost 1 m
over the next century.”
Coastal flooding from storm surges along the Atlantic coast will probably worsen over the next century, the main cause will continue to be “rebound” from the last glaciation. Throw in the entirely normal sea rise level of about 2 or 3 mm per year and you get lots of scare stories.
Try some reality, http://people.stfx.ca/x2006/x2006piv/Forbes%20et%20al.%202004.pdf
But most people won’t bother.
Like New Brunswick never had a storm before!
