At -44 degrees, the management has suspended play at the Greenland Meltdown Country Club. NASA tells us that 70% of the ice sheet melted in just three days this summer.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Isn’ having 4 holes on the first green a little confusing? Or is that just how climate scientists play golf?
Those aren’t holes, they’re ‘scenarios’.
Ahh yes. That makes sense. And if I squint, it looks like they all say “worse than we thought”. 🙂
In Ice Golf, you want to get the holes over with quickly!
dang….i was hoping to get in another round before I have to revert to “glow ball” playing when 24/7 dark hits…
They say themselves that co2 has nothing to do with thick ice.
dr. Jennifer Francis , it is the Arctic Oscillation (of course we knew that)
dr. Mike MacCracken , storms (of course we knew that)

ps of course no words about the Antarctic sea ice ( we know why)
With all that summer melt, ice fishing through the golf holes could give the club new life:

That means the president will have to cancel golf plans, go to work, roll up his sleeves and put in a full 3 hour workday.
It was reported that Tiger went up there to sharpen his game for next years Masters. He might not have accomplished that, but rumor has it that he has finally been cured of his sexual addiction, as his balls have frozen up solid.
Russian icebreaker is currently smashing ice around the north pole
for this priest’s stunt—
you can clearly see see the smashed ice
(the lines moving around in the green)
in this navy satellite animation –
but of course everyone, including stevie, deny that
icebreaakers significantly affect ice –
even though the affects are clearly visible from sattelite..

If I could be bothered I would research all the icebreaker tracks in the Arctic basin for the last 50 years. I would absolutely guarantee that would plot as a hockey stick.
I believe they do much more damage than they think when they ‘research’ the Arctic and can probably be held responsible for at least some of the changes in the Artic ice record.
Helicopters are OK (North Pole webcam deployment etc).
The lunatics are now saying Man made global warming is causing More Antarctic sea Ice, because of winds and a giant hole in the Ozone layer. I think they have nothing left to argue with.

That photo is from 2003.
The penguins are all dead now.
Like all the polar bears. : – (
I did it.
Whatever they’re smoking, I want some.
Rumour has it they smoke “ice”.
Steve, do you know what this circle is?

Satellite shadow area?
I don’t know really! To me it looks like a rendering artifact as if it has been air-brushed or layered wrong, probably just a software glitch.
It’s the area where the sats don’t reallyt cover in their orbits, normally it is shown as a black spot.
