Pulling Out All The Old Tricks

The week before the election we suddenly start hearing from the press and White House all kinds of awful stories about Iraq, and now terrorist attacks which Obama personally thwarted.

Those tricks worked in 2006 and 2008, why won’t they work now?

Obamby can’t blame the current situation in Iraq, or the terror plot from today on Bush. It’s now his watch and he must assume full responsibilty for anything (good or bad) that may happen.

People still are fooled by a good fairy tale. The right combination of smoke, mirrors and misdirection will stick to those that are waiting to be lead astray.

It’s too little, too late. The dude showed himself to be totally ineffective when he quips with Stewart that 2012’s slogan will be “yes, we can, but……” He’s such a buffoon that he didn’t realize people were laughing at his expense.

It is known, though, that during a crisis, the nation tends to be more supportive of the president. So, they’re out to manufacture a crisis. Again, too little, too late. Here’s to the hoped for gridlock and then the repeal of the insurance scam 2 yrs later.

Why not just rename this blog “My Politics”? It’s got nothing to do with “Real Science.”

    • I’ll do that as soon as government pulls its nose out of science.

    • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

      Gneiss,

Did you ever notice the name of the IPCC: the Integovernmental Panel…….

Funny how people think science is coming from the IPCC. But not you….right? You wouldn’t think that, would you Gneiss? After all, ‘government’ is part of their name. Would you contact the IPCC and ask them to broadcast to the world that science is not coming from the IPCC? You will make that effort, right? No, you’ll just stay here and do your crap.

  5. Thrasher says:

Anyone who denies that politics are not a part of Climate Change is completely and probably hopelessly delusional.

There’s a reason we have people like Mann sending emails telling colleagues to stop supporting journals that publish peer reviewed papers from “Skeptics”. Why would he do this if it were all about the science? The answer of course is politics and money…the money grants will start to run dry if he proven to be wrong and that AGW is not quite as alarming or a “problem” as he says it is. Its about money and politics.

You essentially get blackballed by alarmists if you try to interfere with an idea as radical as the truth.

    It’s the economy stupid!
