Fifteen year trends of rapid mid-troposphere warming.
Now it is :
Isolated out of context weather events and imaginary heat disappearing into the deep ocean.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

There’s a real positive aspect here, in that DATA is prompting the definition change, and over 15 years of atmospheric temperature “standstill” underlies the definition shift.
Still many are parroting the shrill warnings that only heavy taxation can cure, and we need to implement the “cure” before the world finds out that we have a naked emperor!!!!
Old-school Global-Warming caused by Man-Made CO2:

Ends up a little more CO2 is all good after the actual empirical evidence is in.
And I ask this in good faith: “Has the tiny increase in atmospheric CO2 attributable to Mankind caused an increase in temperature that has caused a single harmful thing?”
Be sure to include in the answer an estimate of uncertainty, and why all other equally plausible explanations are incorrect. I’ll wait here for an answer. Seriously, anybody – even just “devils advocates” take a shot at it. A kind of a thought experiment on the state-of-the-art in mid-2013.

Yeah. Got it. And congressional hearings; really we just had congressional hearings on this impending dire situation – forget the science and hit the classic fairy tales; “Emperors New Clothes”, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”, and “Chicken Little” for starters. No science or technical background needed.
