Ok, so now we have a “draft resolution” from some comittee, which means nothing approved by the congressmen yet. Let them think a bit about possible consequences for the US : explosion of “terrorist” events targeted at US interests, from outside as well as from inside, sudden loss of prestige, markets and other economical relationships, not to mention probable dump of the US dollar as a foreign currency. But they probably don’t think about global consequences. Maybe they will be more sensible to an approach which makes them think about consequences on their own personal interests.
Time for the constituents to ring the bell and remind them that voting for an illegal war is becoming accomplice of a war crime, and that they are going to be tried and executed for high treason.
Also, any military personal taking part into an illegal aggression against a sovereign foreign country is equally liable for war crime… but apparently, they already know that.
The worldwide backlash if such a campaign is implemented is something to behold…
