Desperately Seeking Science

Summers in the high Arctic have been running consistently below normal for a decade or so.

Much of the ice piles up towards the Canadian coast and is many metres thick there, in places that rarely get above freezing.

The only way that the Arctic could become ice-free is if huge amounts of ice blow out into the North Atlantic during the winter. I have not heard anyone propose a mechanism for that, so why are these morons talking about an ice-free Arctic?

    Steve,

For the past sixty-eight years – since Hiroshima was vaporized, the Second World War ended, and the United Nations (2013 – 1945 = 68 yrs) formed – the very best universities and research institutions have accepted public funds to generate fabulous false fables to keep the public from knowing the truth:

    1. Neutrons repel, rather than attract, other neutrons
    2. Stars make and discard, rather than burn, Hydrogen
    3. The Sun made our elements, birthed the Solar System
    4. Its pulsar core: The Creator, Destroyer & Sustainer of Life

Don’t worry, they will clsim ice free by 2015, if not then, by 2020, if not then, by 2030, if not then, by 2040, etc., etc. Keep kicking the can down the road and keep the Government grants flowing.

Let’s hope the climate change sceptic community can rally behind him and encourage Tony Abbott to give him the porfolio.

A chance for real science again.
