AFP: Next climate warming report will be dramatically worse: UN
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

That is the scientific method, that conclusions are reached and science is settled before anyone analyses the data. That is settled science in terms of getting Government grants, when the Government is pushing an agenda to fleece the taxpayer.
Is this surprising? There is a river of money, lifetime employment and public fame tied up in the climate change/global warming/climate disruption/extreme weather business. Does anyone think they are going stop the flow and go quietly into that good night? Saving the planet is a nobel, well paying cause, after all.
“… the next Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report on global warming will be much worse than the last one.”
I could have told you that. đ
“The next meeting will be in Cancun because Copenhagen will be under a mile of ice by then”
2013 was a banner year, a potential game changer, for what before was hidden under layers of statistics was suddenly updated and officially âconfirmedâ by such flimflam that any layperson or busy academic scientist can immediately comprehend it, undeniably.
(A) Marcott 2013 tears the hockey stick controversy out of the hands of dueling statisticians, one side alone enjoying the authority of academia and professional societies. A screenshot of Mann’s Snoopy dance over it on Facebook and Willis’ simple plot of input proxies is worth focusing on incessantly, as a shame-worthy blight on any academic who ignores it instead of condemns it. Obviously pre-planning was involved in spitting out a headline grabbing hockey stick from thesis data that showed only fuzzy toothpicks.
(B) Cook’s refutation of the 97% consensus spun in advance (âAs we do the analysis, would be good to have the marketing plan percolating along as well.â) as a confirmation blows half of the PR firm tutored propaganda machine out of the water, thanks to Lord Monckton’s analysis.
(C) The quote by academic Lindzen ridiculing the IPCC. The sudden turn of Dr. Curry from passive-aggressive blogger into outspoken critic. The generation gap opening up via Tamsin Edwards. The Big Brother scandals rendering your own blog relevant to a young libertarian crowd.
A large body of people still exist who simply misunderstand that instead of mistakes being made, mistakes were part of a now suddenly obvious scam.
Nice, Nik.
Good round up.
Too bad the bought and paid for MSM will not cover the points. Instead they are not even allowing the information to come through in comments – SAD.
(Of course the censoring of comments is starting to backfire.)
Watts has a post regarding new book written by a former believer in AGW. The author, Paul Caruso, states that after years of research he has come to the conclusion that it is just natural variability that is changing our climate. Mr Caruso goes on to make a stunning, and yet not so stunning admission, “I genuinely would like to be persuaded again that CO2 is causing, or even could cause, us a problem”.
This is what makes the skeptic’s argument so difficult, alarmoleftists WANT to believe that man is responsible, especially through our modern way of life. Nice to see that at least a one of the doomers is actually honest, both with us and himself.

We always have had to deal with alarmo leftists, commies and fascist. Only this time they have played the role of useful idiots by our governments. They are still a minority and their house of horrors is full of cracks. One big protest and they’re out. 87% of the American people is fed up with the lot of them. Just say boo and the cowards will run.
Of course the next IPCC report is worse as it’s full of factual errors or, as I like to call them, LIES. None of it makes any sense and is almost a maximum disconnect from reality.
Former Australian prime minister Paul Keating referred to members of the Australian Senate as “unrepresentative swill” – because of the voting method used in the election of senators in Australia.
At least someone voted for that bunch of “unrepresentative swill” – I don’t recall being asked if I approve of the UN climate fascists trying to dictate to me how I live !
yes, don’t you LOVE the “Harmonization of laws” and they do not stop at trade either. Now thanks to Richard Burr (R) (the ^%$#$ liar **) we have a law that forces US farmers to comply with what ever regulations the WTO dreams up.
**Before voting for Richard Burr, I called his office and asked what his vote would be on the Food Safety Modernization Act. I was assured he was very much opposed to the law so I voted for him. Right after the 2010 elections HE became the CO-SPONSOR of the senate bill!!! G&^% D%$# son of a syphilitic jackal!
it’s so ridiculous, the one thing that has happened which shows the benefits of co2 is increased greenery world- wide and we should all be celebrating.

Increased levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) have helped boost green foliage across the world’s arid regions over the past 30 years through a process called CO2 fertilisation, according to CSIRO research.
In findings based on satellite observations, CSIRO, in collaboration with the Australian National University (ANU), found that this CO2 fertilisation correlated with an 11 per cent increase in foliage cover from 1982-2010 across parts of the arid areas studied in Australia, North America, the Middle East and Africa, according to CSIRO research scientist, Dr Randall Donohue.
“In Australia, our native vegetation is superbly adapted to surviving in arid environments and it consequently uses water very efficiently,” Dr Donohue said. “Australian vegetation seems quite sensitive to CO2 fertilisation.
This, along with the vast extents of arid landscapes, means Australia featured prominently in our results.”
