On this date in 1965,  most of the Eastern half of the country was over 60 degrees, and the northeastern US was in extreme drought. It was 62 degrees in Michigan, 66 degrees in Massachusetts, 69 degrees in Rhode Island, and 71 degrees at Washington D,C.

You can’t have “unseasonably cold” weather in January. Which season is it supposed to be this cold?  A better term would be “unreasonably cold.”

Don’t be confused by the record cold New Year’s Eve. Cold weather is weather, but hot weather is climate.

Forecast high for Boulder today was 45 degrees. We never made it above 24 degrees. But unlike the computer models, our local predatory birds are on target and looking well fed.

Here in Boulder we get 50 degree warm ups and cool downs in a matter of a few minutes. UN climate expert Leonardo di Caprio believes this is due to global warming.

Climate experts say the polar vortex is caused by global warming. This creates a serious dilemma! The colder it gets, the more fossil fuels get burned. This causes more cold, and more burning of fossil fuels – thus more global warming and more cold.

If we keep burning fossil fuels, we are all going to freeze to death! Democrats need to stop heating their homes, if they want to have any chance to stay warm.
