Prior to 1950, early spring was much warmer in the US. The four warmest March 24ths were 1939, 1910, 1907 and 1928.

On this date in 1910, two-thirds of US stations were over seventy degrees, and 80 degree temperatures occurred all the way up to northern Minnesota and North Dakota.

Northern Minnesota is forecast to reach the low 40’s today, about 40 degrees cooler than 1910.

Arctic sea ice extent has more than tripled since September, not dropped. The winter maximum extent was higher than 2006, and about the same as 2007 and 2014.

The ice is much thicker in the critical regions of the Bering,  Chukchi and East Siberian Seas than it was in 2008.

Before data tampering, the 1940’s was warmer in Greenland than the present.

The warmth of that period was very real. Glaciers were rapidly disappearing in 1922, which NASA now shows (after “common sense” data tampering) as cold in that region.

07 Apr 1923 – NORTH POLE MELTING

Same story in 1940. It was very warm and glaciers were “nearing a catastrophe.” NASA cooled Reykjavik 1940 temperatures by 2C, to make the inconvenient warmth disappear.

Greenland is very cold. Their capital is buried in deep snow.
