One year ago, the fake political party known as the “Democrats” warned against obstructing a Supreme Court pick.
Democrats did exactly the same thing and for exactly the same reasons 25 years ago. A lame duck president should not make a Supreme Court nomination.
Things are different now. The people made their choice, and Senate Democrats are obstructing everything. Even under the best of circumstances they will get crushed in the 2018 election. GOP will likely lose no seats, but Democrats could lose ten or more seats.
