The US was hit by a category 4 hurricane on October 2, 1893 and a category 3 hurricane on October 13, 1893. To put this in perspective, the US has only had two major hurricanes during October during the last 50 years.

The US has been hit by four category 4 hurricanes during October – in 1893, 1898, 1950 and 1954 – but none in the last 60 years. The last one was Hurricane Hazel.

Anyone who has been involved with live broadcasts knows that the audio crew spends hours ahead of the event getting the sound perfect. NBC never has audio problems on their news broadcasts. The only way this could have happened was deliberate sabotage.

During September 1988, Jamaica was hit by the second largest Atlantic Hurricane of the satellite era – Hurricane Gilbert. I was living in Houston at the time, and forecasters were predicting a direct hit on the city.  But white privilege rescued us, and Gilbert went to Mexico instead.

Jamaica was devastated by Gilbert, and the Prime Minister said that it looked like Hiroshima.

KINGSTON, JAMAICA KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) _ Prime Minister Edward Seaga said Wednesday that Hurricane Gilbert caused $8 billion damage here, with half this Caribbean island nation’s homes badly damaged and one out of every five dwellings destroyed.

He said eastern Jamaica, where Gilbert first came ashore, was hardest hit and looks ”like Hiroshima after the atom bomb.”

The state-operated Jamaican Broadcasting Corp., operating by generator, reported that at least 19 people were killed in Jamaica by the storm’s fury.

The storm also killed five people in the Dominican Republic on its sweep westward through the Caribbean before slamming into Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula Wednesday morning with 160 mph winds.

I have been fighting to protect the environment for more than 45 years. Air and water in the US was filthy in the 1960s, and I fought hard for the Clean Air Act – which made a massive difference in the quality of life.

• I testified at my first Congressional hearing in support of wilderness in 1971.
• I worked as a full-time volunteer wilderness ranger for the USFS two summers in the 1980’s.
• I am a full time cyclist, and won’t get in a car unless I have no other choice.
• I use and promote mass transit for the vast majority of my non-bicycle travel
• I have put gas in my car only three times since June.
• I think that we waste massive amounts of oil and that our unjustified depletion of the oil supply is an inter-generational crime. Society can’t function without oil and we have to stop wasting it.

But my biggest battle these days is against greens, who have been driven mad with government lies about “climate change.”  They are constantly trying to wreck the environment with hideous wind farms and solar farms.  My friends Angelika, Camilla, and Lorne Smith in Churchover, UK have been battling government (i.e. taxpayer) subsidized wind farms and solar farms in their village for nearly a decade, and just got another big win this week.

People have spent centuries protecting the English countryside, and these green lunatics, driven mad by government climate lies and funded by taxpayer money, are on the constant attack to destroy it.

In 2004 NASA’s top climate scientist, Gavin Schmidt, said that Antarctica had cooled significantly in recent decades.

Thermometers show Antarctica rapidly cooling. Sea ice is increasing. Glacial ice is increasing. But facts don’t suit the NASA climate agenda, so they simply changed the data.
