Progressives believe that a half dozen political hacks at NASA and NOAA represent all of science, and have not yet heard about the new-fangled technology called satellites.

Bernie Sanders just had his 75th birthday this week. But had he been born 10 years earlier he would have experienced this.  Two thirds of the US was over 90 degrees on September 10, 1931 and Minnesota reached 108 degrees.

The latest cutting edge research says that global warming began in the 1830’s, and that it is due to the miniscule amounts of CO2 being generated by humans at the time. Highly paid scientists determined this.

The article below was on the front page of the Chicago Tribune more than 30 years ago, showing warming from 1840 to 1930, followed by 50 years of cooling which wiped out almost all of the earlier warming. Somehow the “new research” geniuses above missed that part.

In 1990, the IPCC said that global warming began in the 17th century. Somehow the geniuses above missed that part.

In 1981 James Hansen showed the same thing. Global warming began in the 17th century.

Dansgaard of the Geophysical Isotope Laboratory, University of Copenhagen, pers. comm.), with the  temperature scale set by the variations in the last 100 years
