Forty-Three Years Fighting For The Environment
Forty three years ago, I testified at my first Congressional hearing, in favor of a wilderness area in Utah. This did not make me popular with the local landowners.
After that, I fought for the Clean Air Act and volunteered two summers as a wilderness ranger for the USFS in New Mexico. I still ride my bicycle for all of my local transport and do everything I can to work towards a clean, healthy environment for people and wildlife.
That is one of my primary motivations for fighting the global warming crooks who have hijacked the environmental movement.
The US Park Service says that there are twenty thousand Golden Eagles in the western US
The most recent survey of Golden Eagles across four large Bird Conservation Regions (BCRs) in the West (80 percent of the species’ range in the lower 48 states is in these BCRs) provided an estimate of 20,722 Golden Eagles of all ages across the survey area.

The Altamont Pass wind farm kills one Golden Eagle every three days, which means they have killed more than 10% of the population.
Dr. Shawn Smallwood’s 2004 study, spanning four years, estimated that California’s Altamont Pass wind “farm” killed an average of 116 Golden Eagles annually (2). This adds up to 2,900 dead “goldies” since it was built 25 years ago.

Greens want to put these impenetrable death traps up all over the country, causing the extinction of large bird species – which have little chance of flying through a wind farm safely.
Turbine blades are as long as a football field, and travel more than 100 miles per hour. They create low pressure in their wake, which sucks flying creatures in and then decapitates them, like ISIS terrorists.
GOLDEN EAGLES FACE EXTINCTION IN U.S. AS NUMBERS PLUMMET, NEW STUDIES REVEAL
By Miriam Raftery
January 6, 2012 (San Diego’s East County) – San Diego County’s 48 pairs of nesting golden eagles and even rarer bald eagles could be in peril if proposed industrial-scale wind farms are built. In a press release issued today, Save the Eagles International (STEI) issued a dire warning, providing detailed documentation proving that golden eagles and their nests are disappearing rapidly near wind farms across the U.S.
The group also blasted the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for changing its mission from protecting wildlife to “catering to the interests of an industry” that is a “ruinous one to boot.”
Although the studies focused on golden eagles, if no major action is taken, wind turbines’ razor-sharp blades will also threaten the existence of other species, STEI predicts.
The international group “solemnly warns the Western States that the biologically-blind policies will cause the extinction of the Golden Eagle, the California Condor, and other species of raptors.” Also at risk are species in Eastern and Central states, such as the Whooping Crane.

President Obama has put in place a policy which greatly increases the likelihood of extinction of these birds. Green groups applaud him, because they are being paid millions of dollars by big green energy interests to remain silent about this environmental disaster.

Arctic Expands To Michigan
Experts say that Great Lakes ice is a thing of the past
Lake Superior has increased water temperatures and an earlier onset of summer stratification by about two weeks in just the past 30 years. Within another 30 years Lake Superior may be mostly ice-free in a typical winter.

Reality has a different opinion, with Great Lakes ice obliterating records two years in a row, and eight foot thick ice blocking shipping.

Coldest Start To The Year On Record In Washington DC
Lincoln, VA is the closest Virginia USHCN station to Washington DC. January-March this year was the coldest on record, and last year was the fourth coldest. Only five years have averaged below freezing.
This year is obliterating records for late cherry blossoms. It is the first year that cherry trees were not active in March.
In 1946, cherry trees were blooming by mid March.
Three years ago, the Washington Post predicted cherry blossoms in February

White Men Ruined Australia’s Climate Hundreds Of Years Ago
By the year 1846, climate experts had determined that white men ruined Australia’s climate
This climate wrecking activity was typified by an endless series of floods and droughts.
Recently discovered aboriginal art shows what Australia’s climate was like prior to the arrival of Captain Cook.

Arctic Sea Ice Rapidly Recovering
The extent of Arctic sea ice has returned to stable 2005/2006 levels
The animation below flashes between 2006 and 2015. Unless there is another summer with strong southerly winds like in 2007, the amount of thick multi-year ice will be back to 2006 levels in a year or two, as the ice age increases.

Oldest/Thickest Arctic Sea Ice Has More Than Doubled Since 2012
Mark “Death Spiral” Serreze at NSIDC always puts a graph of multi-year ice in his April sea ice news. The point of this graph is to show how old/thick ice is disappearing from the Arctic. This year he forgot, so I decided to chip in and lend a hand.
The percentage of sea ice five or more years old has more than doubled since 2012.
The animation below shows the huge increase in multi-year ice in the western Arctic over the last two years

Global Warming Funding Causes Increased Nonsense In The Atmosphere
Many climate experts appear to have no background in science.
Boston’s snowy winter could point to weather patterns affected by global warming.
“The environment in which all storms form is now different than it was just 30 or 40 years ago because of global warming,”said Kevin Trenberth, a senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo.
Higher temperatures warm the oceans and allow the atmosphere to hold a greater amount of water vapor, said Brad Johnson, a meteorologist with the University of Georgia. “Both of these factors, among others, contribute to stronger storms in general,” he said.
If these people were actual scientists, they would have known that the Northeast had one of their coldest winters on record, and precipitation was far below normal.
The reason there was so much snow was because the collision of very cold Arctic air and less cold humid air caused lots of deep, dry snow to fall, which piled up to great depth.

Utah also receives very deep, dry snow – despite being far from the ocean, and having low humidity.
