Endless Environmental Destruction By “Green Californians”
Californians are by far the biggest threat to the environment in the US. They moved to a place which is normally in extreme drought, sucked the water dry and stole it from all the other states.
California’s current drought is being billed as the driest period in the state’s recorded rainfall history. But scientists who study the West’s long-term climate patterns say the state has been parched for much longer stretches before that 163-year historical period began.
And they worry that the “megadroughts” typical of California’s earlier history could come againStine, who has spent decades studying tree stumps in Mono Lake, Tenaya Lake, the Walker River and other parts of the Sierra Nevada, said that the past century has been among the wettest of the last 7,000 years.
The longest droughts of the 20th century, what Californians think of as severe, occurred from 1987 to 1992 and from 1928 to 1934. Both, Stine said, are minor compared to the ancient droughts of 850 to 1090 and 1140 to 1320.
Californians demand for electricity made the air I breathed as a child filthy. There were many days when I could barely see the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
And then in their quest for more water and green electricity, they destroyed one of the most beautiful wildernesses on the planet at Glen Canyon.
Now they are killing millions of birds with their “green” windfarms.
California is a cancer on the environment.

Gaia Humiliates The Latest Alarmist Cherry Pick
Winds compressed Arctic sea ice for a few days, which caused the usual morons to declare apocalypse. The ice is expanding rapidly now, is above 2006 levels, and is about to pass 2005 levels.
Ice has returned to the levels it was at a decade ago.
There is going to be a lot of ice growth over the next week.

Merchants Of Doubt Started With A Big Lie From An Incompetent Scientist
The movie started out with James Hansen claiming that Venus was 600 degrees because of 97% CO2 which was trapping heat.
Apparently Hansen can’t do his own basic math.
Hansen says that each doubling of CO2 causes a 3C temperature increase. Venus has 97% (0.97 mole fraction) CO2. In order to get to 97% on Earth, we would require less than 13 doublings. That would raise temperatures by about 35 degrees, using Hansen’s own exaggerated theory. Nowhere near 600 degrees.

Hansen’s own theory can’t explain the high temperatures on Venus, yet he continues to parrot the same mindless nonsense decade after decade.

Oreskes – The New McCarthy
The filthy movie I went to see the other night was smearing climate skeptics, by trying to link them to the mentality of people who said second hand smoke doesn’t cause cancer back in the 1960’s (during the global cooling scare.)
Everyone was exposed to second hand smoke when I was kid in the US, as are most of the people in Europe today. So I looked up what researchers are currently saying about second hand smoke. The National Cancer Institute says there is no link between second hand smoke and cancer.
Study finds no clear link between lung cancer and second-hand smoke – Health News – Health & Families – The Independent
The Merchants of Doubt is based on a McCarthyite smear on an unrelated topic, using a 50 year old concept which scientists don’t even currently believe.
The American left are a bunch of endlessly fearful nincompoops who are obsessed with controlling everyone else, and will use any filthy tactic to get there.

The Very Best Scene From Merchants Of Doubt
Merchants of Doubt featured lots of clips of fired liar Brian Williams talking about the dangers of climate change, but the very best scene was the one where he was featured with the fired pedophile head of the IPCC, RK Pauchuri.

Wind Farms Killing Millions Of Birds And Bats
The corruption of the environmental movement is nowhere more evident than in their willingness to be paid off millions of dollars to ignore this.
The Obama administration is issuing 30-year permits for “taking” (killing) bald and golden eagles. The great birds will be legally slaughtered “unintentionally” by lethal wind turbines installed in their breeding territories, and in “dispersion areas” where their young congregate (e.g. Altamont Pass).
By chance (if you believe in coincidences), a timely government study claims wind farms will kill “only” 1.4 million birds yearly by 2030 (1). This new report is just one of many, financed with taxpayers’ money, aimed at convincing the public that additional mortality caused by wind plants is sustainable. – It is not.
Dr. Shawn Smallwood’s 2004 study, spanning four years, estimated that California’s Altamont Pass wind “farm” killed an average of 116 Golden Eagles annually (2). This adds up to 2,900 dead “goldies” since it was built 25 years ago. Altamont is the biggest sinkhole for the species, but not the only one, and industry-financed research claiming that California’s GE population is stable is but a white-wash.

Eagles are not the only victims. Smallwood also estimated that Altamont killed an average of 300 red-tailed hawks, 333 American kestrels and 380 burrowing owls annually – plus even more non-raptors, including 2,526 rock doves and 2,557 western meadowlarks.
In 2012, breaking the European omerta on wind farm mortality, the Spanish Ornithological Society (SEO/Birdlife) reviewed actual carcass counts from 136 monitoring studies. They concluded that Spain’s 18,000 wind turbines are killing 6-18 million birds and bats yearly (3).
Extrapolating that and similar (little publicized) German and Swedish studies, 39,000 U.S. wind turbines would not be killing “only” 440,000 birds (USFWS, 2009) or “just” 573,000 birds and 888,000 bats (Smallwood, 2013) (4), but 13-39 million birds and bats every year!
However, this carnage is being covered up by self-serving and/or politically motivated government agencies, wind industry lobbyists, environmental groups and ornithologists, under a pile of misleading studies paid for with more taxpayer money.US windfarms kill 10-20 times more than previously thought | Save the Eagles International
