Beware The Ides Of March

The usual pack of morons has been hyping “record low winter ice extent” just in time to be humiliated again. The Arctic surge has begun. Over the next few days there will be a large increase in Arctic sea ice extent, due to northerly winds and cold temperatures on both sides of the Arctic.

But the real story is that Arctic sea ice has returned to 2005/2006 levels, and the Death Spiral is dead.

More BS From Mikey

ScreenHunter_7909 Mar. 14 06.48

2014 was the first year when there wasn’t any growth in CO2 emissions

– Michael Mann

The trends for atmospheric CO2 haven’t changed at all. 2014 had one of the largest increases in atmospheric CO2 on record.

ScreenHunter_7910 Mar. 14 07.01

Perhaps the plan is to get some sort of meaningless agreement, declare Obama the savior of the planet, and move on with nice fat retirement checks for Mikey and Katie?

Blind Faith Of The True Believers

ScreenHunter_7909 Mar. 14 06.48

“We are seeing climate change happening here in DC right here, right now.”

– Katherine Hayhoe

No we aren’t. Temperatures in Virginia aren’t changing.

ScreenHunter_7907 Mar. 14 06.38

The frequency of hot days in Virginia hasn’t changed

ScreenHunter_7906 Mar. 14 06.25

The percentage of heavy rainfalls hasn’t changed.

ScreenHunter_7908 Mar. 14 06.45

Katherine Hayhoe has no evidence that the climate of DC is changing, and it is very unlikely she has done any actual research on that topic. The Congressman in the middle, Bob Ingliss, listens to these fraudsters, and then goes off on an ego trip imagining that he is saving the planet by supporting their cause. This makes his kids proud of him.

Even if he believes the CO2 hoax, Obama just agreed to let China be 400% US emissions by the year 2030. Nothing the US does will make any difference anyway. The whole thing is mindless superstition.

Merchants Of Smear

I always sit in the front row at movie theaters. Been doing that since my days designing and installing theater sound systems circa 1984. Tonight I was rewarded by getting to sit next to the greatness of Mikey and Katie.

unnamed (2) unnamed (1)

The guy in the middle is a Republican Congressman from South Carolina named Bob Ingliss, who turned to the dark side after his son watched Al Gore’s sci-fi flick and told his dad that he would only vote for him if he saved the planet. (True story)

Katherine said :

We are seeing climate change happening here in DC right here, right now.

I thought that was the arrival of a spring.

I asked Mikey why they don’t just make a Democratic state like Vermont or Rhode Island 100% wind and solar, and prove that it can be done. He said that they are already doing that in California and maybe in Pennsylvania.

You know, all those wind powered cars in LA

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOoxjayJGfI]

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H90L_vp9k7c]

The movie itself was straight up filthy smear tactics. Most of the movie was about the tobacco industry in the 1960’s. Then they showed a few clips of climate skeptics and said that because skeptics question a scientific theory, they are just like the tobacco industry in the 1960’s – and intermixed imagery from big tobacco. Filthy propaganda.

There wasn’t any attempt made to trace money to the skeptics, because there isn’t any. It was all guilt by daring to question the $29 billion/year global warming scam.

Mikey and Katie both came across as actually believing their own BS. I think they are both deluded, rather than dishonest. Then I walked over to the White House and honored the messiah.

Exciting Day

I just got my 1998 4×4 back from the shop. It passed 200,000 miles and needed a new front end.

So I can drive down to DC tonight, pump out lots of life giving CO2, and hear Michael Mann and Katherine Hayhoe lie about skeptic funding, at the “Merchants of Doom” premier.

That is probably one of the few topics they know less about than climate.

No Net Change In Arctic Sea Ice Thickness Since 1940

Between 1893 and 1940, maximum Arctic ice thickness dropped from 365 cm to 218 cm.

The US Navy reports that ice thickness between Spitzbergen and Greenland is currently two metres – the same as it was in 1940.

This is why government climate experts have been tampering with data to make the 1940’s blip disappear.

It would be good to remove at least part of the 1940s blip, but we are still left with “why the blip”.

Mike,
Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise… Can you also email Gene [Wahl] and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar [Ammann] to do likewise.
Cheers, Phil

30 Years Since EPA Said New York Could Sell Their Snow Plows

Science spoke 30 years ago. Permanent flooding in the southwest, and no snow in New York.

ScreenHunter_7889 Mar. 13 11.09

Published: November 2, 1983

The recent forecast by the Environmental Protection Agency that a general warming of the earth’s atmosphere will occur during the next decades has sent shivers all along the East Coast.

In Arizona they are wondering whether the recent floods will become a permanent feature of their climate. And in New York they are thinking of selling the city’s snowplows.

So how did these brilliant forecasts from our top scientists turn out? The Potomac was frozen solid in early March.

According to the official stats, cherry blossoms are blooming later in DC than they used to. (2015 date based on National Park Service estimate.)

Basic Climate Science For Turnips

The atmosphere warmed from 1977 to 1998, and hasn’t warmed since.

ScreenHunter_1253 Mar. 13 08.22

This was caused by a spike in Pacific Ocean temperatures, which began in 1977 and ended in 1998.

ScreenHunter_1249 Mar. 13 08.17

During years with high Pacific Ocean temperatures, atmospheric temperature increases, and the opposite when the Pacific is cold.

ScreenHunter_1250 Mar. 13 08.18

This relationship would appear obvious to anyone with an IQ higher than a turnip, which apparently excludes most prominent government climate scientists.
