Do not respond in kind. She is not at fault for believing the propaganda.

    • Disillusioned says:

You seem like a good and gentle old soul.

    • Hope says:

Did you notice the last fraud pieces Steve/Tony wrote on me said I was chickening out – that was never the case.Steve lies to all of you here – like lemmings you all fall on his every word.

Steve/Tony can’t face the fact that you can’t stop people from downloading a video from youtube …

… would YOU agree to be responsible if anyone downloaded and used the film? Maybe you can play that role for him??

  2. She wants you!
Isn’t it nice to feel wanted?

  3. AndyG55 says:

LOL, she got defeated hands down in the choom thread.. now getting desperate.
    So funny to watch. 🙂

What an insignificant little person she is.!

  4. AndyG55 says:

It really is a very counterproductive way of getting someone to do an interview. 🙂

Rant and yell, and carry on like a raving banshee….. yeah, as if going to do that interview.!

    • Barbara says:

I think this is a mental health issue, not being able to take “No.” for an answer. She has no interest in meeting your specifications, therefore she needs to give the subject a break. I think this last post perhaps calls for a restraining order if that is possible/ or a total block. You should not have to accept threats on your own blog.

      • Barbara,

        You’re right.

I diagnosed this person pretty quickly, and warned Steve.

This is not just a “whacko,” this is serious sanity issues–as in insane.

More distance away from a train wreck like this, the better.

The only thing worse than a schizo is a manic schizo–they have the energy to act on their delusions.

This one is schizo, and manic. Danger.

        • AndyG55 says:

“More distance away from a train wreck like this, the better”

          I’m in Australia…….. maybe safe ! 🙂

        • David A says:

Invite her to a DEBATE on this blog, and on whatever blog she wishes. Just you and her. Pre agree to the questions. No more then 300 words to each response. We get to watch.

        • AndyG55 says:

David, even over a forum, you would need screech cancelling headphones.

Face to face , it would a full-on Hopeless banshee-style rant. Its all she has. !

I doubt anyone would get even a single word answer in.

  5. Jimmy Haigh says:

She’s just another tree-hugging nutter. Ignore her.

  6. Jimmy Haigh says:

Yup. Just another parasite – as are all greens.

  7. edward1968 says:

It’s strange how much these people sound like scientologists when they threaten people. But why do they sound so much like an evil cult? Why, I ask you? Why?

  8. docfjs says:

Is she Homer Simpson’s dumber sister?

  9. NancyG says:

I don’t even see her bringing up the interview anymore. She’s too busy accusing us all of being puppets for the oil industry and defending the Lipsky’s and their fraudulent video.

She says everything we say is parroting the fossil fuel industry because we have all been trained. So being a logical, independent thinker is being trained. I wish they would train more people like me. There’s nothing common about sense these days.

And in true rabid activist form, she doesn’t see how she’s been trained. At this point it is a mental health issue. I hope she has Obamacare.

    • gator69 says:

Nice work on that thread Nancy. It is telling that she continues to defend not just liars, but court recorded liars.

But what else is new on the left? 😆

      • Andy Mirlach says:

“But what else is new on the left?” 😆

Ahh the left! The gift of comedy gold that just keeps on giving!

I would have to agree with one of those geniuses, Harper is wrong to call Islamic terrorists radical, they are fundamentalists.

          radical: adjective rad·i·cal \?ra-di-k?l\
1- very new and different from what is traditional or ordinary

          fundamentalism: noun fun·da·men·tal·ism \-t?-?li-z?m\
1- a movement or attitude stressing strict and literal adherence to a set of basic principles

Islamic terrorists are following the examples and teachings of Mohammed.

        • gofer says:

Wow, what a bunch of modern hippies. They just love to protest even though they have no idea what the protest is about.

    • Gail Combs says:

Yes I was TRAINED. Trained in the Scientific Method.

  10. oz4caster says:

Maybe you should interview her. Turn around is fair play.

  11. Jimmy Haigh says:

I’m not an oil industry puppet. I work in the oil industry and it pisses me of royally that these people spend their lives abusing us but they could not survive without us. Scum.

    • They say the only reason they use fossil fuels is the big evil oil companies force them to

      • Gail Combs says:

I would really like to take away everything Big oil makes available to them and then dump their asses in the middle of the rockies and see how well they survive.

        • AndyG55 says:

I wonder if Hopeless realise just how many of the chemicals in her ineffectual make-up and hair dye comes from fossil fuels … all that plastic !!

        • Jimmy Haigh says:

Me too. I’ve often suggested they take the lead and show us how it can be done but I’ve had no takers yet. I can’t understand it- surely they want to “save the planet”?

        • AndyG55 says:

SUV, jet planes, mansions by the sea, large families (Suzuki).

Nearly every one of the chief climate tragics has a far, far larger carbon footprint than I will ever have !!

And nearly every one of them is totally reliant on fossil fuels to get through the day, be it gas or coal or electricity.

          Hypocrites, every one of them.!

        • gofer says:

I saw a comment by someone who had a problem with the petrol industry and did not want to use a product because it was made from oil. In this case it was mineral oil used on cutting boards. If one was to completely rid themselves of oil, after emptying everything from the house, then the house would have to go, next the car, and now for the clothes and footwear. Can’t have food from the grocery either. So, what is left is a person that is naked with only a shelter made from tree limbs and starving. If it wasn’t made from oil, the it was transported by oil. Just what is this clean fuel, they harp about, that can replace oil that gives us all those things?

This is the industry they despise because its “dirty”?

        • AndyG55 says:

          “it was transported by oil.”

And the transport truck/ship/whatever, the steel was made using LOTS of COAL . 🙂

Then fabricated using LOTS of coal fired electricity.

  12. Trucker Bob says:

    charming!

  13. markstoval says:

“Do the interview with me I dare you .. CHICKEN!!”

Those sorts of taunts are middle school behaviors. Totally meaningless. And in addition to that, you offered her an interview under very fair conditions. A live interview streamed out so that she could not use editing software to twist your words for propaganda purposes. For some odd reason, a fair interview is not what she wants or will do — so who is the real “chicken”???

  14. EternalOptimist says:

I have listened to ‘fossil fuel industry propagandists’ and they sound nothing like Goddard, which is why I think Hope is mistaken. BP invest about 2% of their research and exploration budget on renewables, which is 2% more than any renewables industry spends on oil or gas exploration

  15. Gail Combs says:

What is absolutely hysterical is while Hopeski accuses us of being ‘Trained’ and spouting ‘fossil fuel industry talking points’ it is SHE who has been trained and is spouting the RUSSIAN ‘fossil fuel industry talking points’ That makes her a traitor to the USA specifically and to humanity in general.

Green Groups Go Red, Team With Putin To Fight Fracking

Deceit: Green groups frequently tar opponents as paid puppets of the fossil fuel industry. It’s a hollow, ad hominem attack that’s often wrong. Worse, these groups accuse others of corruption their partners are guilty of.

It’s a routine charge: Climate change deniers are funded by Big Oil — they’re mercenaries whose work should be ignored because of their deep conflict of interest.

As it turns out, though, the anti-fracking movement has received funding from the fossil fuel industry. But the source of funds isn’t a U.S.-based company. The money is from fossil fuel concerns linked to a country that is emerging as an enemy of America.

“A shadowy Bermudan company that has funneled tens of millions of dollars to anti-fracking environmentalist groups in the United States is run by executives with deep ties to Russian oil interests and offshore money laundering schemes involving members of President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle,” …..

Russia and U.S. environmentalist groups have a common goal: They both want to see fracking shut down in the U.S. Russia wants to stop it because it’s hurting that country’s oil and gas industry.

The green groups oppose fracking simply because they loathe fossil fuels and the benefits they bring — though, apparently, not enough to stop taking Russian oil money, a fact that calls into question their integrity……

    • rah says:

And another drop in POL prices is expected. The US strategic oil reserve is going to be topped off this year. Over the last few years been selling and buying and actually making money at it. But now the coffers are nearly full of cheap , light, sweet crude. And US production levels are continuing to rise and not peak until some time in 2016.

  16. Robertv says:

I suppose the interview would be something like this one.

    • _Jim says:

Lawrence O’Donnell displays his total ignorance of things economic … again.

      • rah says:

O’Donnell is a complete Wacko. If, one doesn’t take him seriously, and I can’t see why any sane person would, then some of the things he says are pure comedy. Not that I, like 98% of the rest of this countries population ever watch his program. I just watch some of his nuttier stuff when it comes up on the internet.

    • AndyG55 says:

Except the Hopeless one would be FAR more screeching.

FFS, would someone get the guy on the left some ear plugs .

And some duct tape for the other guy !! STFU and let him answer, moron !!!

SG.. the best NOISE cancelling headphones you can possibly find.

  17. Disillusioned says:

I believe Hope’s dodge/prevarication was that Tony had required her to make sure nobody else on the Internet could upload the interview and edit it. I don’t recall Tony requiring her to take responsibility for the actions of others. I thought his conditions were for a live interview with her, with no editing. Cut and dried, plain and simple – an interview in its entirety. I could be wrong.

She gave away the farm, that her plan was to destroy his credibility (and his livelihood – she has been flinting around in libel territory for awhile now). So, all indications are she never expected to do an interview, but to do a propagandist attack piece – to defame and “destroy” a fellow American that she perceives as the enemy.

The irony is, the ad homs she has monotonously hurled at Tony and others with effortless aplomb, fit her like a glove – her retorts are the poll parrot talking points of the super-indoctrinated (of which many of us on this thread are very familiar). In 2006 I gave Al Gore’s DVDs to a couple friends, a decision I later lived to regret. After spending two years studying everything I had time to get my hands on, I finally let go of my Borg-indoctrinated CO2-phobia. The truth must be sought. Truth must be paramount. When experiment disagrees with the theory, the theory is wrong. That is science.

I wonder if the miracle of disillusionment can come to front-lines, seemingly-hopeless ones, who constantly look only for reasons to protect their crumbling paradigm, rather than to objectively look at the cracks in it, and try to understand the reasons why there are so many cracks. So far, Hope has refused to discuss any of the empirical evidence that has cracked open the terribly fragile AGW egg, Her responses to the inconvenient truth are too rote – too predictable.

    • Kozlowsky says:

You fell for that too eh?

On the inside cover of “An Inconvenient Truth”, the DVD, it suggests buying 5 and giving them away to spread the message. I did it. I bought 5 and gave them to family and friends.

Ironically that is the reason I no longer believe. Gore’s movie made an issue that was background noise for me, and brought it front and center. But then, reading the popular press stories with all the hedge words, the ‘could’, ‘models suggest’, and so on, made me really question what was really going on.

I became a ‘denier’ (I prefer the term ‘dissident’) because I actually started reading the science, instead of the media.

  18. SMS says:

Where is Hope? She usually jumps in by now with her bizarre arguments with complete backup from other lefty bizarre sites. She doesn’t appear to have much common sense or sense of how the world and people act. She needs to figure out that people like Josh Fox and Michael Moore are the problem, along with government supported scientists. I would suggest reading Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” for a start. Once she has that under her belt she can read “The Forgotten Man” and “FDR’s Folly”. These books will make a person really become aware of how destructive government has become.

  19. jl says:

Hope’s “proof” of AGW seems to be simply repeating her mantra of “you’re a fossil fuel industry propagandist” over and over again.

  20. Mac says:

I understand that Depakote and Abilify, when used in tandem, will greatly reduce Hope’s symptoms, and will allow her to live a mostly normal life. The voices which compel her will no longer be as loud and insistent. Someone please call her doctor.

  21. john says:

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Al Gore comes in like a donkey and goes out like a sex poodle.

  22. Hope says:

I see now why Steve/Tony does his selective editing hack jobs on me.

I’m the only draw when my stories get 800+ comments and the rest of the drivel here gets 3 – 30 comments.

Yea, Steve your clock IS ticking. Look into fiction writing … you’re great at it.

    • Me says:

The funny thing is some of that fiction writing from the past has come to fruition, (star trek) for example, but the lies never will. I Hope you can chew on that and get the message, but even this will be like sour grapes in your mouth.

      • Hope says:

Science is only sour grapes to those the fossil fuel industry has trained to deny 🙂

        C’est vous??

        • AndyG55 says:

Glad you continue to enjoy the massive benefits of your fossil fuel addiction.
You must hate everything around you.
Even that mirror you have to spend so much time in from of .. made using fossil fuel.

          Addicted, you are.

    • NancyG says:

What is this, high school? Posts aren’t like Facebook friends. Many of us read without commenting, doesn’t mean we’re not here. Now go away again, you’re annoying. If I could down vote your posts I would.

    • AndyG55 says:

Ah, the FOSSIL FUEL ADDICT returns.

Cannot get by without fossil fuels or things that have made or delivered using it.

“Steve your clock IS ticking” .. roflmao…is that another meaningless, juvenile threat from the Hopeless attention-seeking twit?

      • Dave N says:

It’s a waste of time pointing out the hypocrisy to someone who doesn’t even understand it.

        • AndyG55 says:

Still, I’m sure it will annoy her big time to have it pointed out that every little facet of her meaningless life is dependant on fossil fuels. 🙂

Gees, even the well she gets her water and gas from was almost certainly drilled using fossil fuel power. 🙂

      • Hope says:

Actually – my footprint is at zero.

As a conservative do you think all Republicans use no public benefits?

        • AndyG55 says:

You are a Fossil fuel addict..

You cannot get by a day without it.

You are using it, or some product of it, right now

And where was it made, and how was it delivered..

Get used to it Hopeless.. you NEEEEEED fossil fuel, and lots of it. 🙂

      • Gail Combs says:

Internet trolls have a mental disorder
      [Originally published in “Psychology Today”]
An Internet troll is someone who joins an online discussion and posts comments designed to upset or disrupt the conversation. Often, it is quickly evident that their sole purpose is to upset everyone. They will lie, exaggerate, defame and vituperate just to create a response and derail a thread.
Some researchers from Canada sought to find out what type of person would do this and why. Their study, published in the September 2014 issue of Personality and Individual Differences, found that cybertrolling was an Internet manifestation of everyday sadism.
Researchers conducted two online studies of 1,200 people. They gave personality tests to each one and surveyed their Internet commenting behavior. They were looking for evidence of what is termed the “Dark Tetrad” of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy and sadism. What they found was that Dark Tetrad scores were highest among people who said their favorite activity was trolling.
The study authors wrote that the Dark Tetrad scores were off the charts for Internet trolls and “… the associations between sadism and GAIT (Global Assessment of Internet Trolling) scores were so strong that it might be said that online trolls are prototypical everyday sadists.”
Of course, this does not apply to all trolls. Some are simply government or nongovernment agency disinformation agents. Intelligence services, corporations, governments and politicians have all been outed as having disinformation trolls roaming Internet sites.
But it’s just as likely the annoying troll on your favorite site is simply mentally ill. When you respond, you’re just feeding his psychopathy.

The best advice is, if you see one, don’t feed him.

  28. Neal S says:

Hope likes to say that the Lipsky was never heard. This is misdirection at best. The Lipsky’s had their time in court.

There was a short write-up by American Bar Association. Since lawyers make money no matter who wins, they have no axe to grind and do not favor one side over the other.

    ———————–————————–

Lipsky v. Range Resources Corp., CV11-0798 (Dist. Ct., Parker County, Tex., Jun. 20, 2010) In this very contentious case, husband and wife property owners brought suit against a natural gas drilling company after discovering a large amount of methane gas in their water well. The Lipskys had drilled the water well in 2005 to provide water to their home and property. In 2009, Range drilled two natural gas wells near the Lipskys’ property. According to the plaintiffs, they then began to notice problems with their water well. The plaintiffs alleged that defendants’ Barnett Shale gas extraction activities very near to their residence had contaminated their well. Lipsky created a video of flames flaring from the end of a garden hose that he had connected to his well, claiming that the methane in the well was caused by defendants’ fracking operations.
When it was discovered that Lipsky had connected the garden hose directly to the water well’s gas vent, Defendants filed a counterclaim for defamation.

Lipsky also sought to entreat EPA’s involvement, and in December 2010, six months after the Lipskys filed suit, EPA issued an emergency order against Range, finding that hydrocarbons from Defendants’ operations may have caused or contributed to the contamination of the well which could be hazardous to the Lipskys’ health. EPA’s order required Range immediately to provide potable water to the Lipskys, to install meters to detect for explosive gas at their property, and to take many actions to investigate and halt leaks from the Barnett Shale wells. The RRC also investigated the contamination of the Lipskys’ well. After holding a hearing and taking testimony of several witnesses in January 2011, the RRC issued a unanimous decision in March 2011 that Range’s operations were not responsible for the contamination in the Lipskys’ water. 10 The RRC found that water wells in the area had contained methane gas for many years, which came from a formation thousands of feet above the Barnett Shale formation. The RRC concluded that hydraulic fracturing of the Barnett Shale had not caused any communication with the aquifer.11 The Lipskys declined to participate in the hearing.

Because the RRC had determined that defendants’ gas wells were not the cause of the water well contamination, the trial court subsequently ruled that plaintiffs lacked legal standing to sue. Any challenge to the RRC ruling had to be filed in Travis County, the proper venue for challenging RRC orders. By this time, however, the statute of limitations had expired on challenging the RRC’s order. Consequently, the trial court’s order had the effect of dismissing the plaintiffs’ claims against the defendants. The case continued against the plaintiffs, and plaintiffs’ environmental consultant, on Range’s counterclaims of defamation, business disparagement, and conspiracy under the Texas anti-SLAAP Act. Plaintiffs’ motion to dismiss the anti-SLAAP counterclaim was denied, and they appealed. The Second Court of Appeals determined that it had no jurisdiction over the interlocutory appeal but could determine the case by accepting the appeal as a request to seek mandamus relief.12
The appellate court thereafter ordered the trial court to dismiss all claims against Lipsky’s wife and the consultant, to dismiss two claims against Lipsky for civil conspiracy and aiding and abetting, and left pending Range’s claims for defamation and business disparagement against Lipsky.13

    ———————————-

You can read the document (the above excerpt is from pages 4-5) with footnotes at …

    http://www.jgdpc.com/Hydraulic-Fracking-Litigation-Survey-Paper-for-ABA-SEER-Section-Fall-Meeting-2013.pdf

So the Lipsky’s had their court case and for various reasons their case against range was effectively dismissed. Range counterclaims were also dismissed except for the defamation one. In the USA anyone can sue anyone for anything and there would be nothing stopping Lipsky from bringing another suit against Range, if it weren’t for the pesky fact that there is no way he could ever win, so it would be a colossal waste of money and other peoples time. All that is pending is the defamation counter-suit against Lipsky.

It does seem like Hope would like to be added to the defamation suit with the disinformation she keeps trying to peddle here.

    • gator69 says:

She may get her wish. I was contacted by the Range Resource legal team, and they requested all the information I had gathered on Ms Forpeace, and their attorney told me they would be contacting me again later to go over details.

It isn’t only the loony greens who know how to work the legal system, as Range Resources have proven. I really enjoyed the last bit of Hope’s video when Lipsky was sitting in his multi-million dollar palace whining about being sued for 4 million dollars, and nobody would help him.

      Boo-hoo! 😆

      • rah says:

I never thought I would ever dislike seeing the word “Hope”. Even Obama’s BS couldn’t change my attitude about the word. But now…………………………….

      • AndyG55 says:

That last little amateur film will feel nicely into Range’s defamation suit 🙂

        • AndyG55 says:

Since this last little film was made when the film-maker KNEW that the scientific reports show that the gas was from the Strawn seam, if it is construed that this film tries to blame Range, then someone could be in very deep doo-doo… I hope 🙂

She should have talked to a lawyer before she made it.

      • Neal S says:

The first thing to do when you find yourself in a pit, is to stop digging. I would be pleased to have her stop digging. Based on past performance, I am not optimistic.
