Leading experts Kevin Trenberth and Michael Mann both declared that the deep snow in the Northeast this winter is due to excess moisture in the atmosphere from global warming.
Neither bothered to observe that precipitation and temperatures have both been below normal in the Northeast this winter.

The level of Soviet style criminal activity at the White House has reached spectacular new lows. On February 20, The White House sent out this E-mail announcing that they were going to start attacking individual scientists who dissented from the White House global warming agenda.
A few hours later, this E-mail was sent out to a large group of prominent skeptics. The author used a stolen identity of Harvard’s Dr. Willie Soon, and obtained the list of skeptic E-mails via hacking. The E-mail pre-announced an attack by the press on an individual scientist.
Today they sent out another E-mail using Dr. Soon’s stolen identity, pre-announcing newspaper attacks on other prominent skeptics.
This behavior by the White House, coordinated with the press corps, is straight out of the Stalin era Soviet Union.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise. The White House adopted Soviet era themes from day one.
Any time the White House starts talking about conspiracy theories, you know they are attempting to cover up something really bad they are doing.
They’re still grasping at myths and conspiracy theories, but deniers are on the run.
The White House is attempting to distract from their disastrous performance in the Middle East and elsewhere. So they are focused on imaginary problems and somehow imagining that engaging in criminal activity will alter scientific fact.
Totalitarian regimes around the planet are currently engaged in attacks on dissidents. Yesterday, Egypt sent blogger Alaa Abdel Fattah to jail for five years for being a dissident. Saudi Arabia also has dissident bloggers jailed.
This is 21st century America. We don’t do inquisitions of heretics any more. Unbelievable that this is going on in the US.
Time of Observation Bias (TOBS) is the first refuge of climate scoundrels. It is normally described by alarmists as “they used to take temperatures in the afternoon, but now they take them in the morning.”
This explanation is complete nonsense. Min/Max thermometers record the lowest minimum and highest maximum since the last time they were reset. The actual claim is that people used to be incredibly stupid and reset their thermometer only once per day near the afternoon maximum, causing double counting of warm temperatures on cold days which fell after warm days.
Even using NCDC fake data, this claim doesn’t hold up. NCDC TOBS adjusted temperatures show no US warming over the past 25 years. All of the reported US warming over the past 25 years is due to infilling fake data. NCDC TOBS adjusted temperatures show no warming since 1990.
And TOBS is easy enough to test in the real world (as opposed to Zeke’s fake models) by simply excluding the claimed TOBS affected (afternoon) stations from the analysis. This experiment yields a result showing that TOBS has almost no effect on US temperature trends.
The trend for all stations (below) is nearly identical to the trend for non-TOBS affected stations.
Non-TOBS affected stations also show that the 1930’s were much hotter.
Global temperatures are not affected by TOBS, yet they do the same data tampering on global temperatures as they do on US temperatures.
TOBS is just one more way which government experts will attempt to defraud Congressmen and women in the upcoming hearings.
Since 1991, NCDC has cooled America’s temperature by almost 0.5C, yet they report temperatures within 0.01F. Junk science at its worst.
Some New York Times insider pretending to be Dr. Willie Soon, has been hacking into skeptics E-mails. This criminal was probably hoping to find all sorts of evidence about a massive Koch Brothers funded conspiracy which those whack jobs believe in.
Sadly, all the E-mails contain are well articulated concerns from mainly volunteer skeptics -about junk science and criminals like him/her. The climate mafia are projecting their own filthy behavior on to the whistle-blowers who are calling them out.
NOAA reports global temperatures within 0.01 degrees, but have altered them by 400 times that much since 1997. Junk science at its worst.
Paul Homewood noted on his blog that NCDC has lowered global temperatures by several degrees since their 1997 version. There is a scandal here, but it isn’t necessarily that they lowered the temperature.
The problems are that as of 1997 they didn’t even pretend to have accurate long term records of sea surface temperatures, and that they have tampered with Southern Hemisphere temperatures.
The graph below shows how fake the Southern Hemisphere temperature data is. As of 1978 NOAA showed the Southern Hemisphere extra tropics surface temperatures cooling from 1958 to 1977

GISS now shows the same period warming in that region.
They accomplished this by massively tampering with data in places like South America, turning cooling into warming. Paul uncovered the damage NCDC and GISS were doing in South America.
GISS didn’t even start publishing pre-1950 land/ocean temperatures until about 2003, because they knew the data was inadequate. Now they mix in fake ocean data and tampered surface data, to make a 100% fraudulent temperature record.
Not much. It is all about abuse of power.
I had lunch today with Dr. Bill Gray from CSU, who is the best known hurricane forecaster on the planet, and who had his long time NOAA funding cut off in 1993 by VP Al Gore for being a skeptic. Billions of dollars of government research funding is used to corrupt climate science by luring the unscrupulous, and trying to starve the non-compliant.
Bill has never given in to government funded climate science corruption, because he is a man of principles. He has worked unfunded since 1993 because he was unwilling to lie about the climate as Al Gore demanded.

With a week on 10-20 degree F below normal weather in the forecast, the Northeastern US is already having its second coldest start to the year on record. By the end of next week, 2015 should easily be the coldest.
Government experts say that global warming is making NE US winters warm, ruining the snow, wrecking the ski industry, and ruining the maple syrup industry. Experts at the New York Times have announced the imminent death of the ski industry.
