Obama promised to depoliticize science, and has done the exact opposite. He is trying to dictate scientific fact from the Oval Office, bypassing both the science community and basic logic.

With the rest of the month forecast to be very cold in the US, October to February afternoon temperatures have been the coldest in 115 years.

More than 80% of the country is running below normal over the past five months.

Anyone who thinks they control the climate is severely mentally ill, and should probably not be commander in chief.

HLN host Nancy Grace was among the guests, and she didn’t want to hear more gun-control talk from Morgan.

“Are you back on gun control again?” she asked. “If it weren’t for the British, we wouldn’t even have to have protections to carry guns. It was the British way back when they founded America. They were running through all of our homes trying to take our stuff. So we’re protected under the Constitution.

“So it’s not really right for a Brit to jump up and start talking to us about gun control.”

The Insiders: Democrats have turned the global warming debate into a cartoon

Elizabeth Barnes, an atmospheric scientists from Colorado State University, after an attempt to dismantle Francis’ theory last summer, published a second challenge in January.

“…the link between recent Arctic warming and increased Northern Hemisphere blocking is currently not supported by observations,” Barnes’ study concludes.

Despite this pushback, numerous mainstream press outlets have written about the Francis theory uncritically, failing to present countervailing views.

For example, from the BBC:
The main system that helps determine the weather over Northern Europe and North America may be changing, research suggests. The study shows that the so-called jet stream has increasingly taken a longer, meandering path.

And from NPR:
The wayward jet stream could account for the persistently severe winter weather this year in the U.S. and Britain, as well as California’s long drought.

Even the White House’s science advisor, John Holdren, expressed support for the theory with only subtle qualification.
