The February Tampering Trap

NOAA has institutionalized data tampering of nearly two degrees in the US temperature record.

When the Great Lakes set a  new record for ice cover this month, NOAA will still report that a few dozen years were colder – even though that is impossible. Are the fraudsters going to argue that the freezing point of water has changed?

Learning To Think Like A Progressive

Progressives also believe that the record ice coverage is caused by disappearing ice.

For some climate scientists, January’s extremes and the atmospheric patterns that nurtured and sustained them are fresh bits of information to apply to these intriguing questions: Has global warming’s effect on the Arctic set the stage for persistent weather patterns that lead to extremes? If so, is the decline in Arctic sea ice the stage manager for the wintry events?
