“We Have To Pass The Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It”

Retired chemist Edward Schokowitz was incredulous when he received a letter from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey early last month saying his Medicare Advantage Plan, which had no premium, would be eliminated next year.

“They took all the senior citizens and threw us out of the plan. They now want to give us the same plan for $153 [per month],” he told the Daily Caller. “The President said you can’t be kicked out of your plan. He lies.”

Schokowitz is one of many Medicare beneficiaries now learning that — like Americans who buy insurance on the individual market — they are losing their insurance, and in some cases their doctors, under Obamacare.

Private insurance companies that cover patients with government funds under the Medicare Advantage program have quietly started to dump doctors and patients because of Obamacare budget cuts.

Schkowitz, 75, who lives in a senior citizen complex near Atlantic City, would also pay more for prescription drugs under the new plan. The co-pay for a three-month supply of one of his medications increases next year from $7.50 to $54.00.

Thousands of New Jersey residents are suffering the same fate . Currently, 74,000 Garden State residents are enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage. Nearly half have zero-premium plans.

Einstein Said That All Serious Scientists Believe In Intelligent Design

Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.

The scientists’ religious feeling takes the form of a rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection.

– Albert Einstein

So why does Common Core refuse to allow serious science in the classroom?

Why Communism Goes Against Nature

Darwin taught that nature favors the strong and eliminates the weak. This keeps populations viable and functional.

By contrast, communism (like Obamacare) favors the weak and those with unhealthy lifestyles, while punishing the strong and healthy who take care of themselves. Same story with the schools’ No Child Gets Ahead program.

Obama’s core belief system is based on anti-science and ignorance of natural law, which is why he is destined to fail with everything he does.

Most US Station All-Time Record Maximum Temperatures Were Set Prior To 1940

There are 863 USHCN stations which have been continuously active since at least 1930. The majority of them recorded their all-time record maximum temperature prior to 1940.

Since 1999, NASA and NOAA have tried to delete the hot 1930’s from the US temperature record, because it doesn’t suit their agenda.

The stations are listed below.

Shock News : Glaciers Were Receding During Hansen’s Coldest Year Ever

The Braidwood Dispatch and Mining Journal  Wednesday 28 September 1910

Except over a small area, it is generally understood, the glaciers of the world are retreating to the mountains. The glacier on Mount Sermiento in South America, which descended to the sea when Darwin found it in 1836, is now separated from the shore by a vigorous growth of timber. The Jacobshaven glacier in Greenland has retreated four miles since 1850, and the East glacier in Spitzbergen is more than a mile away from its original terminal  moraine. In Scandinavia the snow- line is further up the mountains, and the glaciers have withdrawn 3,000ft. from the lowlands in a century. The Araphoe glacier in the Rocky Mountains, with characteristic American enterprise, has been melting at a rapid rate for several years.

This global retreat of glaciers was occurring during NASA’s coldest year on record. Climate alarmists insist that receding glaciers are a sign of global warming, because they have no idea what they are talking about.

Thomas Jefferson Was The First Global Warming POTUS

Thomas Jefferson was worried about global warming, until Noah Webster explained to him that he was observing urban heat island effects. Unlike Obama, Jefferson was capable of listening and understanding – and didn’t force his ignorance on everyone else.

“In his 1787 book, Notes on the State of Virginia, Jefferson launched into a discussion of the climate of both his home state and America as a whole. Near the end of a brief chapter addressing wind currents, rain and temperature, he presented a series of tentative conclusions: “A change in our climate…is taking place very sensibly. Both heats and colds are become much more moderate within the memory of the middle-aged. Snows are less frequent and less deep….The elderly inform me the earth used to be covered with snow about three months in every year. The rivers, which then seldom failed to freeze over in the course of the winter, scarcely ever do so now.” Concerned about the destructive effects of this warming trend, Jefferson noted how “an unfortunate fluctuation between heat and cold” in the spring has been “very fatal to fruits.”

Webster concluded by rejecting the crude warming theory of Jefferson and Williams in favor of a more subtle rendering of the data. The conversion of forests to fields, he acknowledged, has led to some microclimatic changes—namely, more windiness and more variation in winter conditions. But while snow doesn’t stay on the ground as long, that doesn’t necessarily mean the country as a whole gets less snowfall each winter: “We have, in the cultivated districts, deep snow today, and none tomorrow; but the same quantity of snow falling in the woods, lies there till spring….This will explain all the appearances of the seasons without resorting to the unphilosophical hypothesis of a general increase in heat.”

Webster’s words essentially ended the controversy. While Jefferson continued to compile and crunch temperature data after his retirement from the presidency, he never again made the case for global warming.”

Shock News : Jeff Masters’ Most Powerful Hurricane Ever Was Only A Category 4

Weather officials said Haiyan had sustained winds of 235 kph (147 mph) with gusts of 275 kph (170 mph) when it made landfall. By those measurements, Haiyan would be comparable to a strong Category 4 hurricane in the U.S., nearly in the top category, a 5.

Barry Obama Stalin Continues Purging The Top Military Brass

Obama continues his unprecedented Soviet style purge of top military brass, taking out a couple more on trumped up charges.

Two United States admirals, including the Navy’s chief intelligence officer, were stripped of their access to classified information on Friday after being implicated in a contracting scandal that federal prosecutors are investigating in San Diego.

The accusations against the two officers — Vice Adm. Ted Branch, the director of naval intelligence, and Rear Adm. Bruce Loveless, the director of intelligence operations — signal a significant escalation in the investigation and show its widening impact on the Navy.

Admirals Branch and Loveless have been accused of “inappropriate conduct” in connection with the scandal, Rear Adm. John F. Kirby, the Navy’s chief of information, said in a statement Friday night. Investigators had so far named only midlevel Navy officers accused of accepting visits from prostitutes and lavish trips — and in one instance $100,000 in cash — from Leonard Francis, a Malaysian contractor.

Navy officials said the allegations against Admirals Branch and Loveless involved personal misconduct in accepting gifts or services from Mr. Francis, the nature of which could have exposed them to blackmail. But, the officials said, there was no sign at this point that the admirals had done anything for Mr. Francis that might lead to bribery charges against them.

Contracting Case Implicates 2 Admirals – NYTimes.com

Obama survives massive scandal after massive scandal of his own making, while he trumps up fake charges of “misconduct” against any officers who disagree with him. And the press corpse goes along blindly supporting the Obama coup.

Vice Adm. Ted Branch was appointed to his current rank of Vice Admiral in July 2013 at the same time he assumed office as Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance (N2/N6), the Department of the Navy Deputy Chief Information Officer (Navy), and the 65th Director of Naval Intelligence.

Prior to being appointed to Vice Adm., Branch served as a naval aviator. His operational assignments include Light Attack Squadrons 15 and 37, USS Forrestal (CV 59), and Strike Fighter Squadron 37. He served as executive and commanding officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 15, executive officer in USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), commanding officer in USS Coronado (AGF 11) and USS Nimitz (CVN 68), and commander of Carrier Strike Group One/Carl Vinson Strike Group. During those tours, Branch deployed with both the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets and has logged combat time in A7s and F18s over Grenada, Lebanon, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Iraq. He participated in Operations Urgent Fury, Earnest Will, Southern Watch, Deliberate Force, Iraqi Freedom, and led the initial Navy efforts for Haiti earthquake relief in Operation Unified Response.

Ashore, Branch has served as an instructor in the A7 and F18 Fleet Replacement Squadrons, the Joint Staff in Washington, completed Navy Nuclear Power Training, served as executive assistant to the Commander U.S. Pacific Fleet, Director of Operations and Plans (N31) on the Chief of Naval Operations staff in Washington, and Commander of Naval Air Force Atlantic.

Branch is a native of Long Beach, Miss. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1979 and earned a master’s degree in International Relations from the Naval War College in Newport, R.I.

Branch’s decorations include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Strike Flight Air Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “V”, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.
