Obama and Cameron can’t even think up a new script?

One big difference between Obama and Bush. Bush sought international support for war and regime change, but Nobel Peace Prize Winner Obama is skipping that step.

Living In The Past

In the 1960s, liberals had a term for people who were afraid of change, and lived in the past – they called them “reactionaries.”

Barack Obama leads a new reactionary group – climo-reactionaries. People who believe that the climate used to be stable and lovely, and that any perceived change in the weather is bad.

The heroes of this group include –

  • Hurricane Sandy, which proved that white Republicans destroyed the climate
  • Timothy McVeigh, who proved that white Republicans are terrorists
  • Adam Lanza, who proved that white Republicans shoot children.

Very Skinny People

I just watched the world’s top cyclists ride up a half mile long 15% grade on the hogback ridge above the CSU football stadium. My vantage point was perfect, as I was able to watch them for several miles with binoculars.

It was near the end of a long hard day in the mountains, and there were four riders about two minutes ahead of the peleton. The were all very skinny and rode up the hill in about half the time it takes me.

No US Child Has Ever Seen A Category Five Hurricane

Today is the 21st anniversary of Hurricane Andrew, the last category 5 hurricane to hit the US. This means that no US child has ever seen a storm that strong. Andrew made landfall in Florida with winds over 150 MPH

Two other category five hurricanes hit the US last century – Camille in 1969 and the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935, which was the most intense hurricane to hit the US since 1850.

The US has not been hit by a major (category 3-5)  hurricane in eight years, the longest such period since the Civil War. Florida has not been hit by any hurricane for eight years, by far the longest such period on record for that state.

Obama’s Gulf Of Tonkin Incident

A Syrian chemical weapons attack makes no sense.

Both Russian officials and independent experts in Moscow heaped doubts today on the veracity of reports that Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad killed more than 1,000 people using poison gas in an attack on rebels in a Damascus suburb Wednesday.

“Russia isn’t persuaded by any of these reports. Nobody in Moscow believes Assad would use chemical weapons, especially now that he’s winning without them, and he’d be crazy to do so on the very day that UN inspectors are visiting Damascus to look into reports of chemical weapon use,” says Sergei Markov, a frequent adviser to President Vladimir Putin.

“It’s obvious to us that we’re looking at a well-prepared provocation, possibly staged by Qatar or Saudi Arabian intelligence, aimed at whipping up emotions in the West and triggering an armed intervention to aid the rebels. It’s clear the rebels can’t hope to win without such assistance from outside, so they are the only ones who have any stake in creating an example like this. Russia is not going to support any moves in that direction,” he adds.

Like Obama, Lyndon Johnson was the most liberal member of the Senate before assuming the presidency and escalating the Vietnam War with a fake military incident. Obama’s presidency is collapsing, which makes him a very dangerous and desperate player on the world stage.

Troubled By His Own Disastrous Presidency, Obama Looks To Start WWIII

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel suggested Friday that the Pentagon was moving naval forces closer to Syria in preparation for a possible decision by President Obama to order military strikes.

Hagel declined to describe any specific movements of U.S. forces. He said Obama asked that the Pentagon prepare military options for Syria and that some of those options “requires positioning our forces.”

The president’s senior national security advisers are expected to meet at the White House this weekend to discuss possible military options for responding to the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government, a U.S. official told Fox News Friday.
