Justice For Trayvon

ScreenHunter_361 Aug. 24 11.25 ScreenHunter_363 Aug. 24 11.27

Obama thinks these guys should have guns, so that they can gun down neighborhood watch people who are trying to protect their neighborhood from thugs.

I just ask people to consider if Trayvon Martin was of age and armed, could he have stood his ground on that sidewalk?

Slowest Start To A Hurricane Season On Record

Obama says that hurricanes are getting worse, based on some research done at the Choom Climatological Institute.

As we approach the end of August, there have been no Atlantic hurricanes. By this date in the year 1886, there had already been seven hurricanes – including three major hurricanes, one of which wiped the city of Indianola, Texas off the map.

Obama’s presidency has also seen the fewest US hurricane landfalls of any president. Three hurricanes have hit the US while he was in office, compared to twenty-six while Grover Cleveland was in office.

This year’s melt rates are in line with a sustained decline of the Arctic ice cover, which has been monitored by NASA for several decades.

In the 1980’s the ice cap was about the size of the lower 48 states. It’s lost about half its size since then

A Kinder, Gentler Idaho Fire From 1910

CNN says that fires burn hotter now than they used to, due to your SUV. Here is a description of a kinder, gentler two million acre fire from the low CO2 days of 1910 – before the press was taken over by flaming imbeciles like the ones who work for CNN.

Bing Rape

For some reason, Microsoft thinks it is a good marketing strategy to employ third party software to violate your computer, change your default search engine to Bing, and install Microsoft toolbar viruses in your web browser.

All this does is piss me off,  and push me towards other operating systems.

It Isn’t Just The Temperature Data

The Met Office conveniently provides data  sets showing how sea level data has been tampered with over time. The graph below plots the difference between sea level plots generated in 1987 and 2006.

Like almost everything else the hockey team gets their hands on, they lower the past and raise the present.

Bill Gray Correctly Forecast Kevin Trenberth

Bill Gray is Fort Collins’ senior skeptic. In 2006 he explained the biggest scam in scientific history.

06/05/2006

The only inconvenient truth about global warming, contends Colorado State University’s Bill Gray, is that a genuine debate has never actually taken place. Hundreds of scientists, many of them prominent in the field, agree.

“They’ve been brainwashing us for 20 years,” Gray says. “Starting with the nuclear winter and now with the global warming. This scare will also run its course. In 15-20 years, we’ll look back and see what a hoax this was.”

My belief is that three, four years from now, the globe will start to cool again, as it did from the middle ’40s to the middle ’70s.”

Chill out over global warming – The Denver Post

Kevin Trenberth is Boulder’s senior junk scientist, and wrote this in 2009 – right on schedule.

The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t.

Now Trenberth says it is due to the PMS state of the oceans

The oceans can at times soak up a lot of heat. Some goes into the deep oceans where it can stay for centuries. But heat absorbed closer to the surface can easily flow back into the air. That happened in 1998, which made it one of the hottest years on record.  Trenberth says since then, the ocean has mostly been back in one of its soaking-up modes.  “They probably can’t go on much for much longer than maybe 20 years, and what happens at the end of these hiatus periods, is suddenly there’s a big jump [in temperature] up to a whole new level and you never go back to that previous level again,” he says.

The ‘Consensus’ View: Kevin Trenberth’s Take On Climate Change

In other words, junk scientists in charge of the temperature data cool the past and warm the present, and then other junk scientists create junk theories based around their garbage data.

Trenberth’s “big jump in temperature” is due to data tampering, not global warming. The graph below shows recent GISS alterations to temperatures at the capital of Iceland.

In 1975, the National Academy of Sciences saw a completely different pattern – long periods of warming followed by long periods of equally large cooling.

2013 Hurricane Season Is 8-1/2 Months Behind 1938

It is August 24, and there have been no Atlantic hurricanes yet. But during the low-CO2 year of 1938, the first hurricane formed on January 3.

On January 1, a weak extratropical cyclone formed about 2,000 miles (3,200 km) southwest of the island of São Miguel in the Azores. Moving eastward initially, it later began a turn to the south on January 3. On that day, the cyclone transitioned into a warm-core system, a tropical storm with winds of 60 miles per hour (97 km/h). Henceforth, it gradually curved to the southwest and on January 4 became a hurricane, equal to Category 1 on the modern Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale. It peaked at 80 mph (130 km/h) that same day but weakened into a tropical storm on January 5. Turning to the south-southwest, it dissipated on January 6 while centered well to the east of the Lesser Antilles. The cyclone became the first documented Atlantic tropical cyclone to attain hurricane intensity in the month of January and is one of just four Atlantic storms known to have occurred in that month, the others being Hurricane Alice in 1955, a subtropical cyclone in 1978, and Tropical Storm Zeta in January 2006.[1]
