What Are The “Most Important” Months For Arctic Ice?

The “most important” months for Arctic ice are May, June, July – the months when the sun is highest in the sky.

Last year, southerly winds blew the Beaufort Sea open in June, causing the dark water to absorb a lot of sunshine and warm up. When the storm came through in August, this warm water mixed with Arctic Basin ice and melted a lot of it.

This year, the Beaufort Sea is completely clogged with ice, and is reflecting most of the 24×7 sunlight back into space. Alarmists are hoping for a big melt this summer, but it isn’t going to happen.

If We Relied On Consensus Science, We Would Still Be Living In Caves

Advances are made by people who think outside the box.

That idea is stupid. We have always lived in caves.

The Obama Dictatorial Crisis Of The Week

Every week Obama announces a new crisis which requires new dictatorial powers.

  • Despite the fact that gun crime is way down, we were having a gun crisis
  • Then the sequester crisis
  • The the we have to spy on you to save you from terrorists crisis
  • This week is the we have to kill off coal crisis

Despite the fact that coal has been in use for hundreds of years  suddenly this week it became a crisis.

Obama has clearly departed the world of the sane, though it is doubtful he was ever in it. He has some bizarre need to feel like he is saving the planet from one imaginary emergency after another.

Meanwhile, he drives the country towards bankruptcy and future energy shortages.

McKibben Has Succeeded In Driving A Nation Insane

In July, 1989, I drove my German Shepherd from Flagstaff to Newport Beach in my Honda Civic with no a/c. It was 122F in Needles and I brought a few gallons of water to pour on the dog and keep her cool. Temperature was 68F in LA when we arrived that evening.

In July 2006 I drove with one of my kids from Cupertino to Fort Collins in a different car with no a/c. It was 115F in Sacramento. At Donner Summit it was cold.

Hot temperatures like this happen all the time in California and Arizona. No one used to think anything of it, until McKibben et al drove everybody looney.
